He needs to do something because he has yet to have a signature win. He ducked Spence to fight a guy that was Kod by Mean Machine.
It was the other way around. Crawford has tried to make this fight for a decade. Boxing didn't want to give this guy any signature fights, that's sad but not his fault. Fellow has made enough cash, I don't think he minds that much.
Crawford and Spence will go down in history something like the way that Donald Curry and Lloyd Honeyghan have instead of as Mayweather or Leonard have. It's too bad, because Crawford looks like he has Felix Trinidad/Shane Mosley level talent.
I never got the big deal about Crawford.. he is an excellent fighter yes but let's be honest hes a weight Grifter who looked very uninspiring in many of his fights and has basically pissed his career up the wall and never really challenged himself... so what's the big deal about him.. even now his hest win is probably still postol lol... plus hes duller than dishwater
I knew when he did not take the fight with Spence last year it won’t happen. Spence’s performance against Ugas worried them a lot. They knew my guy EJ would get to him.
This fight ain't happening and if it ever does, it's gonna be at 154. If Spence could make 147, that's where he'd be fighting Keith Thyroid.
So.... Loma, Canelo, GGG, Fury, Usyk, Wilder, and many others have big wins but somehow there is a conspiray against Crawford to prevent him from getting a signature win.
