Sanchez has just stopped Azumah Nelson and moved to 44-1-1. Chavez has just disposed of Roger Mayweather to move to 47-0 . Both are 23 years of age Sanchez is 5'7 with a 67 and a half inch reach.
Chavez is 5'7 and a half with a 68 inch reach. The fight will take place at 130 pounds.

Sanchez was just TOO good. He wins a stunningly adroit UD, though Chavez acquits himself quite well (of course).

I don't see Sanchez beatinvg Chavez .. that's a huge jump up from Little Red or Gomez ... Chavez was an absolute beast at that size and time ... so strong, insane chin and stamina, terrific power .. I love Sanchez but he's become a tiny bit overrated .. watch the Nelson fight and see what a terrific challenge an inexperienced Nelson gave him ... beat Chavez, no.

I agree. I really like Sanchez, but JCC was at least his equal P4P and bigger, he would be the favourite for me.

JCC is better at everything we hold Sal in esteem for. That left to the body would’ve showed us what Sal looked like when he was forced to breathe heavy, Not long after that we’d know what Sal looked like face down on the canvas.

The described version of Chavez probably decisions Sanchez, but the 87'-is version, that was dried out against Pratchett, Laporte or Lockridge probably gets decisioned by Sanchez.

I think Chavez might be the favorite but not by much. In a 15 round fight the last 5 rounds will be a thrill ride. I wouldn't bet on this one either way.

It's true , the 85 version, which is the one were discussing, sure looked weak against Roger ...

I never liked Sanchez. Chavez was a bit of a primadonna, but he was still far more relatable. Sanchez thought he was Elvis or James Dean or somebody. Chavez just came to put in that bodywork and go home to his kids. I see him Chavez breaking him down and forcing a stool stoppage in R9

Sanchez had a controversial win against Pat Cowdell.
Chavez would have demolished Cowdell within 9 with no room for the score cards.
    I think that says enough

How I feel. Sanchez' master boxing carries him through to a very close decision in an exciting fight.

Actually it says pretty much nothing. Boxing doesn't work like that.

Actually it says nothing, Chavez never faced Cowdell and styles make fights.
Sanchez did struggle with Cowdell, Chavez may have beaten Cowdell easily
or easier , Doesn't mean Chavez beats Sanchez..
Personally, I like Sanchez at super feather/feather. It
was his best weight, Chavez I like at lightweight
and above where he was his most impressive.

Don't see anyone getting stopped, both of those
warriors have beyond world class chins.
