You guys are a bunch of fan boys! Walking behind grown men, carrying all their jewelry for them ;D. But I would have loved to be in Erik Morales entourage when he fought Barrera, especially the first fight. It would be like a street war, two dudes and all their homies goin at it over some BS. I only choose this fight cause I was actually in Tijuana that fight night and went to watch the fight closed circuit in a bar and the place was electric, with several brawls breaking out around me. Not sure why, as it was Erik Morales home turf, should have been all his people at the bar, but they don't fight like that in bars in the states! May be outside in the parking lot, but not inside with glass bottles and bar stools . Still don't know how I managed to get out of their in one peice
No title fight, but maybe Mike Tyson coming into the ring with 2pac - Ambionz az a Ridah Hagler - Hearns is deinatelly a good one! I gues i would like to meet my favorite sportsman Floyd Patterson, winning the title as the youngest man or regain it as a first man. If i have to stick by your rules than i change it to the first title defence after it. So Patterson - Johansson 3 Otherwise. I really would like to walk in with Hogan and Mr.T at Wrestlemania 1. So meeting 2 childhood heroes + Ali as a the referee. Kinda awesome^^
Do we get to sit with the cornermen during the fight? Or at least get good seats? Because I’d choose based on what fight I’d want to be at with that vantage. But also, what if we want a drink and some popcorn? Will someone fetch it for us? Or at least pay for it?
Sounds good - a nice travel back in time too. You could’ve also carried Jack’s rail spike for him. Lol, kidding. How about walking with Jack Johnson into the ring at Reno? That would’ve been a tad scary.
I’m thinking Toledo with that crowd in those days would have been pretty smelly. Food probably wouldn’t be all that good either. One of Ali’s exotic locale fights might be interesting. I’ll have to think on this.
Funny, I was thinking along the same lines…the alcohol was likely a lot rougher too - need some time getting used to. The Bahamas sounds nice.
