It was Yardes only chance to come out hard and fast. If that didn't work, which it didn't, then it was just a matter of time.
Yarde definitely should have been deducted points for spitting out the mouth guard and he was losing anyway but he put in a good effort.
It was a great fight, why must you hate? You know what's overplayed? The shot Mosely landed on Mayweather in the second round of their fight. Yeah it was a good shot, yeah Mayweather stumbled a brief moment, but people act like that was Wilder putting Fury on his a*** in the 12th round. As for Yarde, his performance has been etched in stone, you can never take that from him. May be people are making a big deal about it because so many of the know it all's we're picking Beterbiev to steam roll him
Right, I thought like the announcers that Yarde started to look winded in the 4th round. I thought geez! he's already tired? He had a body builders physique with the same stamina.
It was a great fight. Everyone watching it while it was going on thought it was a great fight by both boxers. Both guys were hurt. Both were getting busted up. It was a wonderful fight. I don't know why people can't just give guys credit for a great fight and leave it alone. Seriously. Some dolt always jumps on days later and says "Oh, I finally watched it, wasn't as good as I heard it was." I hate them all. Just miserable folks.
@Noel857 whenever Yarde tried to be effective, Beterbiev punished him dearly and got the upper hand. That's why I say Yarde didn't win a single round.
I thought Yarde did very well and showed tremendous heart in a game losing effort. Beterbiev was cut, stunned multiple times and looked fatigued before getting his 2nd wind.
Well thanks for your reply but you are probably in a tiny majority with that opinoin.I had Yarde 1round up at the time of the stoppage
