I think that Tommy has better fundamentals than Jake Paul and if he sticks to the basics the jab, the one two and keeps a high guard he could out box Paul and win on points or stop him late as I believe it is going to be a 10 rounder.
From the little I've seen of Tommy he looks pretty rudimentary... but he does look a tad smoother in the ring than Jake does. That doesn't mean he's a better fighter though. I was favoring Tommy by a hair because I thought he was considerably larger. Seeing them face to face though idk... the fight is 'interesting' to see what will happen.
Jake Paul seems to have thicker bones and larger skeleton, thus he probably generates more power and is more durable. Considering both fighters lack skills, I think Jake Paul knocks out Tommy Fury.
Jake Paul stops Tommy fumbles if Tommy ever makes it into the ring that is. He has pulled out twice now and a third pull out is extremely likely. It’s all about the gypsy honour guys. He won’t be able to stand the loss of face in losing to a trash talking American. The most interesting bet on this fight is what excuse does Tommy use this time and how many days prior to the fight does he pull out? Shoulder injury and 4 days?
I hate that the fight is coming on hella early in the states, this fight has gained alot of attention and has a big fight feel to it that should be shown on Primetime. Smh
I'm a bit depressed and masochistic so I actually watched some clips here. It's a closer fight than I thought (I thought Paul was going to blow him out). Tommy Fury might be a better boxer than Jake Paul, but what is beyond clear is that he's a better boxer than Tyrone Woodley. For whatever reason I thought Tommy was low output, but actually Fury can fight at an OK clip. Paul and Woodley would go very long stretches posing in front each other, Fury might not let that happen. He drops his left hand sometimes and lacks serious power, which are the primary qualifications for being a Paul opponent. I think he'll get knocked out, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's up on the cards when it happens.
Now we know why even Tyson Fury called Tommy a youtuber. I thought he was supposed to be a real boxer and a real boxer fights boxers lol Tommy's 'transition' is complete
I hope Fury gets KTFO simply because he's making money off his last name. At least the Pauls built thier **** up from the ground.
Tommy has unusually long arms and wide shoulders. Almost ape like. He isn't a hook happy fighter purely from bio-mechanical point of view so his best bet is to keep it long and try and time Jale with the jab and power shots
My head says Fury but when you think about it, why would Paul be risking his career fighting a relative nobody if he wasn't absolutely sure he could win. My head told me Ben Askren would beat him and look what happened there. From then on you knew Jake Paul was very good at picking opponents and I don't think this is any different.
