Paul isn't stupid; he picked Fury for a reason: his name. He knows very well the Fury name sells tickets and brings eyes to the PPV. He is the most astute cherry picker since Floyd. I'm not knocking him, it's a business decision after all.
This content is protected JP has the Mighty Mike Perry on standby, don't be suprised if the bout doesn't happen yet again
Let me interpret. Nowhere does it say Tommy Fury might pull out, it's a precautionary measure they've taken, just in case. So change the name of the thread to "If Tommy Fury pulls out, Mike Perry will be his replacement" you intellectually dishonest **** poster, or I'll delete the thread altogether.
Fury could win this bout by fighting on the outside, but he has to be willing to be booed mercilessly by the crowd. I suspect he will succumb to the pressure of fighting on the big stage and start exchanging, which will lead to him getting KD'd and a wide decision loss.
Yes and no. Jake Paul has fought elite athletes who aren't boxers, Tommy Fury has fought boxers who aren't elite athletes. You can tell he was in the gym with his brother much earlier because he throws off beat, weird angle punches and they're accurate (to a certain level). But they don't do anything to guys who were probably in a hurry to get knocked out so they can back in their Uber and drive the audience home. Sort of the opposite of Jake Paul, Paul can throw a 1-2 but the 2 is very powerful. Fury can box a little but lacks power. He went the distance with a guy who has 113 losses (18 KOs).
I've sparred Tommy. There is more to him than any of his fights can tell you...and the same applies to Jake Paul. Both are tough dudes...Fury will outwork Jake but he has to get on him early and stay on him.
I think Tyson Fury gets along more with Jake Paul than his own brother. They seem to have more in common personality wise. Tyson and Tommy don't seem to even be a part of the same family at times. If I didn't know they were brothers I'd be shocked. Tyson, his dad, and that big fat brother that always hangs out with Tyson, all seem to be the same family. Tommy must take after his mom's side.
Nah. Jake won't win via Knockout. He should win but Tommy Fury is young, athletic and can take a good punch. It'll be a sloppy fight where Jake wins via Decision. People still think Jake Paul can punch lmfao. No, he can't. Tommy Fury will be fine. But as Tommy can't box to save his life and Jake actually has a good jab he should edge it.
