Vasiliy Lomanchenko has never avenged a loss and probably won't against Haney...how does this affect

No. Stop. In real time, even the real die hard Loma fans were saying he needed to step it up. He just started too late. But he did not beat Lopez.

Don't care. If Loma even manages to make this competitive, like a SD, MD or 115-113 loss, it's a win in my book. Bloke is an absolute midget and perfectly exemplifies the concept of POUND FOR POUND like that classic ODLH poster

Sadly, Loma will never get the respect he deserves because of how hard he was pushed onto fans (which, I admit, was annoying af at the time). He's also bum-crushed quite a lot if I'm being honest. Still, if Loma bags even just one out of Haney and Shakur, he deserves ATG recognition

You are full of ****. Loma offered Salido career best money to rematch him and Salido ran like a little ****** and refused. After coming in overweight and bottling low countless times to get a close decision against a guy with one pro fight, that’s as cowardly as it gets.

Teo also ran away from a rematch. Loma wanted it but Teo refused and fought Kambosos instead. A cherry pick gone wrong for Teo but it couldn’t happen to a better guy.

Only a hater and a jackass would hold this against Loma. Unlike Canelo, he never ran away from a rematch and was refused by his opponents. Still waiting for that Canelo Bivol rematch. Does that count against Canelo?

We all know Sacheato didnt want the rematch, he knew Loma would whoop him in the rematch, and Lopez was just the better man that night. I dont think his legacy would take a big hit, even in a losing effort to Haney. The young guns at 135 are tough as ****, we saw that with Jermaine Ortiz.

Lets imagine that Lomachenko would have come around in a time period where he would have gotten to beat a super hyped Prince Naseem Hamhead and then he could have moved up to take out soft but popular targets Arturo Gatti and Angel Manfredy. His pockets would be full and who knows if he would have done a trilogy vs Erik Morales or someone perhaps people would make greatest of all times claims or things like that. Unfortunantly there simply never was much out there for Lomachenko and that's not his fault.

You realize if someone is an inch closer to the camera it can skew their relative sizes significantly right? You cannot possibly think Haney's head is that much larger than Crawford's can you?

Salido turned down high 6 figures for a rematch to sit around and gloat about low blowing his way to a home cooked victory… hope he doesn’t regret that in ten years.

Salido cheated vs Lomachenko he was a Welterweight fighting against a Featherweight, the fight shouldn't of even took place because Salido didn't even bother making weight. Not to mention the 100s of low blow that the incompetent referee let Salido get away with.

I remember there was talk of Salido vs Lomachenko happening at one point, but Salido wasn't really that much of relevant fighter at that point anymore. So I'm not sure how much a win over Salido at that point would've mattered, although I guess its always nice to get revenge. But Salido's "victory" was heavily tainted anyway.

Lomachenko had a shoulder injury vs Lopez, and he barely lost a close decision. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between them, but if Lomachenko is taking on a bigger challenge vs Haney then I don't see the problem.

Lomachenko has never shyed away from a challenge, and I think that's what he should be credited for rather than worrying about rematches.

I don't get this needing to avenge losses. This is the fight game when you fight the best you win some you lose some. Undefeated records are usually cherry pickers.

Loma himself doesn’t agree with you, he said he believes he drew against Lopez.

I disagree. One of the marks of a great fighter is avenging your defeats. It's one reason Tyson is rated so much lower than Ali on the ATG standings
