Off the top, I've gotta go with George Foremans nuthuggery of Tito vs Hopkins.

If I remember correctly, the HBO commentary for JMM vs Pac 4 for Pac was pretty bad.

There isn't an unbiased announcer going at the moment, in any sport I watch.

Had that one in mind when I read the title. Foreman was clueless that fight and his bias made me rewatch the fight muted.
He did the same with toney vs barkley.
Think he just wanted his I told you so moment that nobody else saw if a miracle punch did land.

Ferdie Pachego always came across as a smug douche to me when he was commentating and was a dick during the benn vs gman ending.

Especially him as a doctor shouldnt have talked like that.

Every broadcast by DAZN. I don’t mind their app, I don’t mind their stable of fighters - but the UK/US bias that their commentators push is disgusting.

    The Canelo fights are unbearable.

So bad I ditched their service and find the fights elsewhere….

There's so many to choose from but , I'll go with Howard Cossell in the 1st Duran Leonard fight
He was just aghast at the sight of his favorite child being manhandled by Duran

DAZN sucked in the Canelo vs GGG trilogy fight, at the end of round one they said GGG landed two jabs after clearly landing more and out jabbing Canelo. It was the Canelo cheerleader show. I have to watch that fight on mute.

I don't know if he was biased (other than with respect to Ali), but Ferdie was the most hateful announcer I've ever heard in any sport. He seemed to genuinely dislike fighters and the fans, plus his arrogance was unbearable. He was much more grating than Larry Merchant on Larry's worst day.

Pretty much any Floyd match that was commentated by the virtuous narrative pusher trio of Kellerman, Lampley and Merchant.

Funny thing is I grew up watching Lampkins and Merchant and always enjoyed them and associate them with many great boxing memories...

But their anti Floyd agenda got so bad to the point where I could not stand any of them..
That combined with their shameless, groupie style ball shining of Manny Pacquiao

    Max Kellerman

He's always biased, he doesn't hide his prejudice against European boxers.

    Andre Ward is terrible too.

Anything DAZN dors, they are a clear #1 in bias. Andre Ward gets a mention as well on ESPN.

now that promoters are tied to broadcasters, and almost every fight is the promoter’s boy v little known jobber, commentators across all networks cheerlead the A-side. it’s all propaganda.

I haven't ditched the app because I think it's well worth the US price but I agree completely DAZN seriously nuthugs Canelo, but he's their cash cow so I understand the deal. They (meaning Ak and Barak) droll all over Eddie Hearn. I think Sergio Mora is fairly objective in his real time fight commentary.

That Trio you mentioned consistently hated on most Boxer's quiet equally depending on the fight & how the fight was being played out in front of their eyes in order to appear more insightful,

Kellerman & Lampley were seen over loving & praising Floyd throughout his Career even when he was fighting lower level comp & those two including MR BANG BANG Lampley downplayed Pacquiao in a variety of his fights while back hand complementing him after the fight was done with his opponents losing in a quick switch up to save face,

Just have a look at their fight in 2015, the whole time Lampley felt intimated by the SHOWTIME crew as if he was there to apply for spot with them by ridiculing Pacquiao before the fight had began from round 1, even by the 3rd Round he was implying Pacquiao is going to lose with a quarter of the fight being completed at that point it was disgusting,

Merchant was actually good, miss his honestly & objectiveness without fanboying any fighter & keeping it in the middle.

Him along with the Cornell Bob Sheridan was another & they're always seem to be a certain type of person, kind of like the corrupt judges.
