Ali weighed 210 pounds and was probably almost natural. Klitschko is an overdoped 245-pound sportsman.
Wlad ain't knocking out Muhammed Ali, therefore he's got to win a boxing match and outpoint him over 15 protecting a chin even Ali would crack. Good luck with that.
Wlads style troubles Ali. Remember that ali was a headhunter with a lean back syle that didnt fight guys that much bigger. On the other hand, if Fury could get into Wlads head and made him reluctant to throw and constantly resetting with feints then Ali definitly could. Going with Ali by UD.
Wlad would do well to use his size, clinch and make it a boring fight like against Povetkin, but I think Ali stops him late rds.
Ali had trouble with boxers that had a simular or bigger reach as him, Someone like Wlad, who’s just a larger human being, would probably prove too much for him no matter how biased the judges would be in his favor as he couldn'tuse his spoiler style. But he would have a decent chance. Vitali would win 10 out of 10 times imo.
At the very least, Wlad would collapse from exhaustion against Ali if he were in that ring in Manilla. As for Vitali, he quits on his stool or gets his face cut to ribbons from Ali's slashing punches.
Who are you calling a casual? I fought both amateur and pro. I haven’t sparred Wlad but I’ve sparred many that did, what’s your experience nerd? I would like to see Ali win but Wlad size is hard to deal with, especially if you fight around 210, Wlad can’t take a punch so it’s a chance Ali stops him but it will most likely be a boring jab and grab win by Wlad.
Thanks for your contribution. I tend to agree with you and respect the fact that your inside knowledge is far greater than my own. I would say however that if it's a 15 rounder in bad conditions I think (prime) Ali's chances improve as he was more used to craziness like that plus Wlad has to protect his chin for an extra 3 rounds when he might be getting tired. This is a funny question because there are people on this forum who think that boxing has declined and Joe Louis would beat Lennox Lewis, while others think that modern nutrition and training is so important that a bang average modern HW would beat Muhammad Ali. There's no convincing either side to be honest.
Ali has a much better chin, and boxers with a much bigger reach like Sony Liston didn't give him a problem.
Lol! At some point in the fight, Wlad is catching Ali and then giving him the Chris Byrd treatment. And I would LOVE to watch Ali try that rope a dope crap on Wladimir. Lol PRIME Wlad would eventually knock him through the ropes. Literally
Punching power is the difference in this fight. Vlad's jab would be like a right hand to a golden era heavyweight. Ali loved a jab and clinch, and he'd be doing it against a guy who is a master of it and has big physical advantages. I think after 6 Vlad catches Ali with a left hook out of the clinch and the fight ends the next round.
