Big admirer of Mayweather and his boxing skills back in the day (90s upto around 2015)......but for the sake of the sport, this fight needs to bomb. It is simple, don't pay for it.
I can't see it being a success. His level of opposition is getting worse and worse. Same date as the Logan Paul-Fury fight aswell.
It's going to bomb. The result is a foregone conclusion and the Geordie Shore guy doesn't have anywhere near the profile required. Wouldn't be surprised if it gets cancelled.
Ticket sales will be a success, Geordie’s will go out on mass to watch this but I wouldn’t go see mayweather if he was in my home town at those prices!! Fight is pointless he’s just trying to copy Ali doing a world tour, he’s famous but not Ali famous.
Outrageous prices at the top end, this has 'flop' written all over it in terms of actual ticket sales and also people who purchase the PPV. I've sort of picked up the names of a few of these you tubers over the past couple of years, through the boxing and whatnot. I've literally never heard of Aaron Chalmers. Not even heard his name in passing before. Edit. Apparently he's a TV star and MMA guys according to Wikipedia. My point still stands though lol
