Navarette moving up to 130 is interesting. He was always the much bigger and stronger guy and now he's facing guys of his own size. Wilson is easy to hit though and probably packs some serious glass. He was hurt in almost all of the fights i have seen. I expect Navarette to take him out at some point. But i wouldn't be shocked if Wilson wins some rounds early. Navarette looked out of shape.

Barboza/Pedraza is a good fight. I'm not sold on Barboza yet but he has some good size on Pedraza and while rewatching Barboza he's a lot better than i thought. But he also has those shaky moments in a lot of fights. He was hurt badly by Zorrilla in the last round and Saucedo also dropped him. Pedraza is a sniper and can punish that. I expect Barboza to struggle early but finding his rythm in the second half.

Cortes vs. Melendez is a good fight tho. I'm 0% sold on Cortes. I think he's pretty much overrated as ****. I think Melendez could upset the odds and beat him tonight. But Melendez needs to go forward and bully the smaller Cortes. And he has to let his hands go. I'm not rating Melendez that highly but i think he has the right tools to get the job done. Cortes already down twice in his career against low level guys and Abraham Montoya had him in a world of trouble too late.

Not sure whether we'll get the full card in the UK but hope so having read your post. I know some don't care about undercards but I really like sitting down and watching several fights in a row, at least if they're any good!

This is indeed a very solid card with decent matchups. I hope we'll get fair scoring.

I like Barboza Jr and Wesley Snipes has been a high level operator for some time. Good matchup, might not be scintillating but good all the same.

Very odd about Wilson coming in light. He hasn't been near that weight for over a decade. He ended his am career at 64kg,(141) and started as a pro around that.
His trainer Ben Harrington is no noob. He is a younger guy but well regarded and brings a bit of the "new school" approach into his coaching using science and monitoring diet etc.

Seems a little fishy but as some have said the rest of the card weighed in fine in front of the press, would have had to be some impressive slight of hand to tamper with the scales.
