We really should be watching the next World Title contender Joe Joyce v Joshua next before he steps up to World Level.
Very kind of Queensberry to provide me with a TV Boxing night out Birthday Present. Joyce via a late KO or Points.
All bias aside imagine thinking it adds kudos to you by pretending Joshua isnt a world level heavyweight
The lad may have a point. Hope Anthony comes back strong but his next fight is closer to journeyman level than world level and his planned rematch with Whyte is well below world level too. At 33 years of age with 3 defeats, the decline is usually relentless and brutal in boxing although history points to a few exceptional fighters that overcame the odds. Anthony will be at least 34 years of age when he faces his next proper test and both of those planned fights will do next to nothing in preparing him for the elite skills/movement of a Fury or Usyk never mind the hard hitting Wilder or Joyce types. Father time is not on his side unfortunately and I feel he really should have taken the Fury fight late last year if he felt himself that he was still genuinely world level. The choice of his next two opponents does indicate serious confidence and mentality issues that may be permanent. Joyce deserves a shot this year and hopefully it happens against the winner of Usyk v Fury. Cannot see Zhang posing too many problems.
So if the point was is AJ on the slide agreed. However the clear indication from his post is that as of right now the guy that just lost to Usyk (one of the best p4p in the world) in a admittedly clear but competitive 12 rounds is not a world level boxer is of course absurd and no one should get some kind of credit for pretending thats there actual view based on Joshuas ability. Also admittedly Franklin isnunderwhelming but it shows a real lack of sincerity to even describe him as a journeyman level fighter. Journeymen fighters do not lose MD to Dillian Whyte who i agree is not brilliant but certainly not a journeyman fighter ever.
Anthony is wasting valuable time in his career fighting both Franklin and Whyte who in reality are closer to journeyman status than World Heavyweight Champions. There is no glossing over this and it shows a lack of confidence and/or lack of ambition. Father time is ticking very quickly and a fight with someone like Joyce next would have been ideal for both answering the question whether either are capable of winning a World Title in the future. Don't know how both of these pointless fights prepares or improves Anthony to face the best in the division. Joyce and Anthony easily win their upcoming fights but all they are doing is wasting valuable time with the clock ticking quickly on both careers.
Ok. You really need to go and look up the definition of a journeyman if you truly believe they are any way near that. He does need to win better fights to get to elite top top level again but he needs to build confidence.
No idea who 'Safin' is but I watched the Whyte v Franklin contest between two very poor Heavyweight boxers in the division. I stated that both are closer to being journeyman than winning a future World Heavyweight Title. Both would never win World Heavyweight Title if they had 10 lifetimes ahead of them while the former is a cert if they continue boxing for a few years. No idea how beating Franklin and Whyte would give Anthony any more confidence to beat the elite as he learns nothing wasting another year of valuable time in his career. Both Joyce and Anthony win their next fights easily.
These are truly sensational posts and the usual suspect (or is it suspects, depending how you look at it) at it as usual accusing alts. I thought this was to stop. Reported. Truly honoured to be chucked in the same boat as this guy, though, he clearly knows boxing and a lot more than me. I look forward to reading more of your posts. I agree that Joyce and Joshua would’ve been perfect. We’d learn a lot more from that than these impending foregone conclusions.
Reported right back Safin truly a pathetic life you must have. Its pretty well established im not an alt, seen all my posts criticisng Hearn and Benn ? Lol
Ok i may be wrong but just out of interest (and i dont believe Dilian whyte is a top heavyweight but a fringe level gatekeeper to world level) how do you think he has made such a career for himself if he as you say a very poor boxer ?
These are your words as I never stated Whyte has had a bad career but two very poor boxers were in the ring in his last fight.
