I don't give a **** about Emanuel's WBO sponsored coronation at 130lbs, he's been paying them for years and gets what he's expected I suppose - but Arnold Barboza-Jose Pedraza has caught my eye a bit. I probably won't make it but what time do we think that ringwalk will happen?

So at the weigh-in I was curious as to why Wilson came in at 126.3. He says he weighed himself on the same scales less than an hour prior and was just under 130. He believes the scales were tampered with so Naverette could make weight and I’m inclined to agree with him here. Naverette might be 145 at minimum tonight.

Torrez should blast his opponent out in Round 1. If the fight sees Round 2 i'd be surprised tbh.

I actually was planning on responding to your post after I got done with my GGG assessment on that other thread. I don't disagree with a thing you said. We're simpatico again. Wilson I doubt has the power to trouble Navarrete in spite of the fact that he has questionable whiskers and has been rocked a lot recently. I think he's a KO waiting to happen. But Wilson not only couldn't put a dent in Rueda, but also arguably lost to him, which doesn't bode well for him here. I think Navarrete's doom is nigh, but.... not tonight. I think Barboza is slightly better than average, but still far from great and will lose soon as well, but Pedraza has seen better days. So while I think he'll give Arnold a lot of problems early and throughout. I think Barboza will outwork him by a hair i almost every round, and get the decision, perhaps a questionable one. I picked Melendez in the League via SD, not because I'm sold on Melendez, but Cortes is that bad.... the only thing I'm worried about is a robbery. Although I think that could be avoided if Luis really goes all out, I think he can score a stoppage. He clearly beat Ramirez but got robbed, and while he struggled with Mattice, I think I had that a draw. That's irrelevant, because Cortes is nowhere near either of those guy's level.

Supposedly there is a "please explain" moment on the video where a member of the commission reaches down to the base of the scales twice in a short span of time just before the weigh in for the main event.

Could be nothing, could be something.

Just seems a little fishy. Fighters who come in just half a pound over, run in plastic bags to sweat every last drop out of their body to scrape under weight.
Wilson loses 4 pounds in half an hour just sitting there?

God dammit. I wanted to see the Liam fight, but thought it was in Australia. The U.S time zone kills me.

No UK broadcast until 2am so a bit about what occurs would be nice.

Navarette will lose early rounds. Probably all of them. Judges will give him half those rounds anyway. Then he’ll score a KO out of nowhere in the 2H and we’ll find out he was close to even on the cards despite appearing to be down 6 rounds to 1 or something.

How does one tamper with a scale? The opposing team looks on while the fighter is being weighed. Not saying it's impossible, just wondering about the logistics.
