Fury - Usyk

Oh, there it is again...!

 

The only issue to be resolved next week is Saudi or Wembley according to promoters.

 

I’m sure if Fury is given a 24 hour deadline it will be done no problem.

 

I love to moan about this fight not happening, but it's happening. 100%. Take it to a bank. Fury knows he can't pull out of this one; the fans won't forgive him. Usyk is a household name among British boxing fans now. I'm not saying he's the A-side or a monster draw on his own or anything, but he IS known. There's a great John Fury interview post-Wilder 3 where he recalls a conversation he had with Fury leading up to the fight, which had already been delayed due to '''''covid''''' and Tyson told John that he couldn't pull out of the fight because the fans wouldn't forgive him. If he pulls out of the undisputed fight his stock will go down massively. It won't be completely gone, but even fighting Ngannou and Joyce in 2023 wouldn't repair it. The fans want what the fans want. It also helps that Usyk and his team are straightshooters so it's difficult for the Fury clan to build a narrative against them

I can see him pulling out, though if he does all the casual fans wpuld be unbearable about AJ fighting the man Fury was too scared to fight.

 

Fury will do what Joshua couldn’t come close to doing, and that’s smashing Usyk. Fury will batter Usyk and stop him. He may take a few blows in doing so but unlike Joshua he can take a punch and doesn’t turn into a wimp.

 

Fury fought Wilder, away, coming off huge weight loss and ring rust.

He is no doubt strategic with his fight timing, but the notion he’s ‘scared’ or whatever is just juvenile. He deserves the benefit of the doubt I think.

Probably I don't care about money Fury having outrageous purse demands is the delay in the fight. Or him waiting to make sure tests comeback clean

 

All talk about this fight should be banned until they've actually genuinely signed to do so otherwise it runs the risk of becoming as boring as Joshua and Wilders media merry go round "BREAKING NEWS - one of them would like to fight the other one - terms are agreed in principle" etc etc

Yes unfortunately, i had an interaction with the truly pathetic Safin and his newest alt nutterbean. So sad he legit carried on a conversation between the two where he just complimented each other.

 

Yes we caught him out. He might be twice my age but he surely has no brain-cells.

 

Well he loves a deadline himself and has been critical of those who have not met his, lets just see if he really wants it or he will face being ridiculed forever if he doesn't, after all it is only a boxing match...
