is Fury vs. Usyk the biggest fight of the 21st century?

legit.....starting from 2000+ it might be

Manny vs. Pac might be one, but it was when both were past their best where as Fury and Usyk are getting older but still at the top

It isn't even the biggest hw match-up; that'll still have been Lennox vs. Vitali - and neither of them touches May-Pac, even as belated (and underwhelming bell to bell) as it was.

I must have missed the Manny vs Pac fight. Was it any good? Who won? LOL. The only reason I say it won't be as big as the May/Pac fight is Fury and Usyk are not nearly as popular.

    Won’t be anywhere near May/Pac.

It won’t make as much PPV money as Fury/Wilder II because no one in the US cares about these guys.

Nah.. Vitali was a last minute stand in & didn't even a hold a title after he quit against Byrd.. Fury & Usyk are undefeated & the CLEAR stand outs of the Division and have separated themselves, Vitali wouldn't even rematch Byrd & wasn't seen as the #2... Ring mag had baby brother & Byrd etc rated ahead of Vitali... in fact Vitali was seen as a bit of a joke figure back then.. no one gave him a shot either.. wheras Fury Usyk is about 50/50.. I appreciate what Putins son went on to do afterwards but I can't compare these two matchups.

We're at the beginning of the century, having no idea how many and how skilled boxers will be in the next 80 years, for sure we'll not see many of them. And there is no such thing as "fight of the century" for me, but there're intentionally stupid topics.

Won't even be the biggest selling fight of the year assuming Tank vs Ryan Garcia gets made.

you over estimate Davis' pulling power me thinks.. but you can't compare that fight to this .. what the f*** has Ryan Garcia ever done lmao.. and tank Davis is a protected stay at home bum who avoids legit threats

OPs question is vague what does biggest mean? Is the Usyk Fury fight more important to boxing purists?100% but it won't have as many eyes on it as the Davis-Garcia fight.

I'm quite confident that fight will do over a million PPVs, neither Fury nor Usyk have touched those numbers and even them together won't necessarily. The Fury-Usyk fight is a purists dream but won't get the masses excited like Mayweather vs Pacquiao or several other big fights that occurred over the last 20 years.

Fury arguably fought a better Vlad Klitschko than AJ did but AJs fight was "bigger".
