Tyson dominated the 3rd had he not taken a bite outta crime. Holy won the first 2 rounds but it wasn't an ass kicking. That's what I meant to type.
Look I don’t care how I sound- but you who has achieved nothing in the business can drop the “Crack head” Cooper remarks and have some respect.
That's Holyfield taking his rest earlier than usual. Tyson was about to get KOed in the next round'ish, or so. I think Tyson knew it. Holyfield was taking a rest for Bowe II (round 6) also, getting ready for the big KO.. enter fan man..
I think this is bull****. The first fight was a great fight in which Tyson was busting Holyfield up before the headbutt. The knockdown in round 6 was caused by a vicious head blow by Holyfield which caused Tyson to get pushed down by a tap left hook. To say Tyson was no match for Holyfield is stupid
You both put that way better than I could have. Mike was losing. He tried a last hurrah that really didn't do much, reinforcing the relative hopelessness of the situation. He admitted himself (more than once) that he was getting his ass kicked just like the first fight. I think both that plus frustration over some of the headbutts led him to basically revolt.
Really? No offense, but looked to me like Holyfield was winning that fight before the 6th round... Change my mind, please. You might try watching the fight without listening to the commentators. Mike wasn't looking so great through a good deal of that fight.
This is it. The last hurrah did precisely nothing and he knew his wad was shot. Holyfield was simply too tough both physically and mentally given he was able to execute his spoiling type game plan perfectly.
Tyson was clearly frustrated in the second fight. I have no tears to shed about headbutts when Tyson threw elbows. Neither a perfect example of a squeaky clean fighter. Wouldn't we all would've loved to see how the fight would've transpired but most likely it would've been another Holy late TKO win.
I was agreeing with you Sang until you said this. It wan't a case of losing his mind for a moment. He came out without his gum shield. And he bit him twice. This was no split second moment of madness.
Oh, boy... Holyfield-Tyson was never going to go the distance. Tyson was never going to stop a focused Holyfield.. No matter what..
