I like Fedor i think hes one of the best MMA fighters ever, but he is beyond shot and his punch resistance is long gone. I think Bader will finish him inside 2 rounds. Wouldnt be surprised to see another demolition job by Bader though tbh.

Credits for Fedor having the heart of still fighting and taking his losses as humble as his greatest victories. But it's been for years that he's in the stage when a fighter's head is just glass. Combine this with age, as he's not in his 30's, but in later 40's, so he can't even compensate with physics, so it's very possible that he'll lose the fight in similar way. But the man is ATG.

Johnson was a very sold win all things considered, and at home... a shame he didn't bow out then.

Watched every Fedor fight since I became a fan as a kid, knew it was going to be brutal... but had to support my boy. Even picked him in the league despite knowing the writing on the wall. Will always be my favorite MMA fighter.

Bader will take it again. Fedor needs to retire.

Nah, Fedor should've retired years ago and not to make that 2012-2015 pause. Bader is just significantly younger and it was obvious that this plays its role. I may question some of his punches being more of illegal ones, but either way would've won.

I just saw the payout for the main event, and let's say it's shockingly low even by UFC standards, especially since it was televised on CBS. Bader received 150k, while Fedor made a paltry 100k for his farewell fight! How insulting.

Do you honestly believe Fedor only received $100k for the fight ? I don't.

The fighter pay for Bellator 290 has been cited by multiple sources, so yeah I do tend to believe that Fedor made 100k for the fight itself, but his sponsorships are another story. Here are the salaries of the fighters on the Bellator 290 main card:
