Is he a good barometer to how Joshua would do in a rematch against Usyk. He seems quick for a big guy
Who has he dominated? Who has he brutally beaten? Has he stood out against anyone? Did he ever do anything in a fight that made you think 'this guy is special?' Is there a Jermaine Franklin moment 'at all' that sticks out in your mind that you would include on a highlight reel? That's how good he is.
He's pretty good but to be a small heavyweight in modern HW boxing means you have to be better than "pretty good" you have to be amazing. Prime Mike Tyson amazing. His boxing ability isn't enough to overcome his physical less than averageness. He's mentally calm though and pretty durable. He's above average but still painfully average a 50:50 with Whyte is testament to that. Atleast he's not ugly fat like Stiverne The last batch of 6'2" heavys who had something about them were Pulev & Povetkin and all it took was a jab from a big man to keep them at bay... You have to have something special about you or be best in class to be a top tier heavyweight. He doesn't.
Yup he a 6'3" cruiserweight and a very very good one. Top 3 all time which is why his only loss will come against the best HW of all time.
He has good fundamentals/skills, but has no X factor physically. Hes sort of short, sort of heavy, and doesn't have big power.
Jerry Forrest/Rydell Booker level. Which just goes to show you how badly Whyte has eroded over the last few years.
