Bivol vs.Usyk....who has greater technical skill

this isn't asking who wins, or who even is the greater fighter combining all attributes but just looking at pure technique/skill who is ahead?

 

Bivol does what he does very well but usyk is much more versatile in an all round sense.

 

Usyk is one of the best well rounded boxers ever. Def P4P # 1 now.

Bivol is a by the book type boxer. He is just about perfectly on note with the fundamentals. He's like Mayweather in that sense, but unlike Mayweather Bivol is not as smooth/experienced when it comes to executing solid fundamentals in a creative manner.

Usyk on the other hand is a creative monster. He's technically sound, very fast and is a slippery weasel when it comes to defense. He made Joshua look like a statue that couldn't hit the bronze side of a barn. Frankly as far as I've seen, the only other two heavyweights in history who specialize in these 3 areas as well as Usyk are 60's Ali and Iron Mike.

 

Bivol and Usyk would need to combine their strength and skill though to be any chance against Clarissa Shields.

 

That goes without saying.

 

Both are better than Canelo.

I think Bivol is better.

Hunter outboxed Usyk in first 5 rounds. I have never seen Bivol being outboxed.

Taking the risk of being lynched here, I will go with Bivol.

 

These people are forgetting Usyk was getting busted up by Briedis, straight up and down fighter. If i go by the eye test Usyk looks stiffer. Bivol looks better to me as well

Briedis was on fire that night and Bivol dropped rounds to Craig Richards and was stunned by Joe Smith.
