To be honest and setting aside any bias i have (dont like Hearn and find AJ tedious but fun to watch), this is probably the right move in terms of his career (his career not his boxing ability or legacy etc). He is 33 years opd maybe another 3 or 4 years in him if he picks right fights to earn more money.

He is probably still, just, in the the top 5 HW in wprld and certainly top 10. He needs to rebuild (not develop i dont believe he can be a better boxer any more at 34 but maybe just focus on what he is good at) after two clear but competitive loses (2nd pne especially) to one of the best p4p fighters in the world, where it became clear he wasnt able to execute the things he is actually world class out which shows he is a tad 2D. IMHO as long as this isnt PPV looking through a purely business career lens he fights Franklin wins impressively sets him up for a fight with Whyte (which he more than likely wins) and then a cash out fight with Fury (who i cant see him beating) or Wilder (meh id say 50/50 if im being generous), then see where the chips lay for his career. That said if he loses to Franklin or Whyte he should retire though id bet on seeing a whyte vs AJ 3 if he did lose.

Also the casuals will just see this as Franklin who went very close with Whyte and eat this up anyway.

That said now i have given AJ praise and the fight has been announced im expecting to he trounced by a load of new member who DEFINETLY arent Safin rejoining.

They put the subscription up to £19.99 - only the gormless will fall for the games by 'them' lot.

I think he beats Franklin and then Whyte but I want the old careless AJ back, the one that would just look for the KO, the one that obliterated Povetkin when Povetkin still had something about him.

AJ needs a few fights on this level in all honesty

Done wonders for Lewis after he lost to MCcall

For those who like to dip in and out by paying for just one month at a time.

£9-99 a month or £99-99 for the year for the rest.

Also, they will go 0 PPV in the released schedule to suck people in, then lump 4 in in the second half of the year. So your £100 is probably more like £175

Yeah the fact they have only released half the years schedule and frankly none of the fights they have are PPV worthy anyway is a bit of a red flag. I dont believe if AJ wins and they make AJ vs Whyte 2 in october that wont be PPV a second.

AJ's next fight assuming he wins will be PPV, they are desperate to make a Katie Taylor fight PPV, a Canelo fight will be PPV as well, so that is minimum three.

Canelo Ryder won't be PPV. Taylor won't fight on PPV. Joshua Whyte would obviously be PPV.

If Canelo Bivol is in the Middle East, then that would obviously be PPV.

There will be minimum 4 PPV fights during the rest of the year.

The new pricing is an absolute liberty for a service that basically has one sport.

No point moaning about the new DAZN prices or schedule.

Either fork out your money if you think it is value for money or simply stick to watching the boxing on Sky Sports, BT Sports and Channel 5.

take the red pill and wake up, you've more chance of seeing Kate Middleton's T*ts than him fighting wilder or fury

Its not moaning, its criticising something that is wrong with our sport. I agree with your sentiment on an individiual basis but its like saying either watch olmpics with trans athletes or dont you can have an opinion.
