Heard Eddie on iFL today saying people were critical of AJ vs Franklin but positive about Joyce vs Zhang and it made no sense.
Surely everyone expects Joyce Zhang to be a much more exciting fight while it lasts.

    I saw that.
Was it the same interview where Hearn said everyone involved in boxing including Frank Warren should thank Joshua because they wouldn't be were he was without him?

I hope Frank doesn't choke laughing

I'm sure Joyce would have happily fought AJ given the chance as well

People were critical of Zhang based on the expectation that AJ should be fighting a top level HW next, like Wilder or Joyce. Also, based on the fact that for the last 3 years he has been a once per year fighter. Therefore, a fight against a low level opponent like Franklin could well be his only fight of 2023 making it a cynical cash grab for no risk.

Furthermore, there was the expectation that at the worst we would get the Whyte rematch next. Is Whyte too much of a risk now?

Joyce responded to indicate that AJ never even attempted to make the fight with him, which again exposes Hearn as a liar.

Zhang vs Joyce will be a great fight for 5-6 rounds.

AJ vs Franklin will be a one sided beatdown that will be over in under 4 rounds.

Does anyone really swallow Hearn's shite anymore??

The next thing he will be telling us that Benn is innocent after 2 failed drugs tests...

I recently unfollowed Eddie Hearn, Matchroom and DAZN UK.

It actually feels great not being annoyed with all the lies.

Franklin comes across well, was working full time until the Whyte fight. Hope he's getting paid well. I know he'll lose and it's a bit of a rubbish fight but I hope Franklin does well and gets other fights.on the back of it. I presume Wardley and co will fight him after as his domestic profile here will be high.

Had to laugh when AJ said what his motivation was. Money money money. Even he looked uncomfortable saying that. Why is this guy so confused.

One minute, he's a philosopher who is humble, the other, he's money hungry and doesn't care about legacy or titles. He's just a mess of a guy mentally. He can't even answer a simple question about Fury Usyk, without making a complete hash of it.

We've got some jokers as heavyweights let's be honest. AJ and then you've got the biggest hypocrite probably in world sports Tyson 'not about the money, all about the money' Fury.
