I'm going to write a giant post on how pound-for-pound lists are compiled one day. I might also dig into the history and usage of the term to discover what is actually means because imho it's been warped over the years

Someone on another site introduced me to the idea that only unified champs (or very recently unified champs) with at least one solid title defence should be objectively considered for P4P rankings, and I think there's some merit to back that up. There's a bit more to the criteria but you get the point

Personally, I disregard any and all lists that include Bivol and I think an honest conversation needs to be had regarding Bud. Usyk is my #1 because he legitimately defeated a unified champ 20lbs+ heavier than him in the ring, and defended those titles against the same man less than 12 months later, proving it's no fluke

Can someone explain to me why Crawford is repeatedly ranked so high? I don't have anything against the guy, but the only news that I hear about him, in recent times at least is the fact that he and Spence won't fight eachother.
I feel like I rarely see someone like Chocolatito and Estrada high up there.

Not really anyone else that needs to be in the list.

3 division champ, passes the eye test, beat Portee/Brook/Gamboa/Postol. If he had a good resume he would be #1 but he's a multi division champ including undisputed at 140 and he's never had a questionable decision - always clear wins

Of course you could! P4P is subjective and not based on current titles held.

Interesting you have GGG so high up there. I thought he lost to Derevyanchenko and has been on a steady decline since. Will go down in history as one of the best chins in boxing and one of my personal favorites.

Fury on top, lol. Only six title bouts, only four different opponents in those, last title defence against an almost 40, 12 losses guy whom he already beat twice 10+ years ago.

Did the Furys pay someone for this list or something?

Well, Fury is the one running scared, not the other way around, so…

The fight will never happen. It’s been five months since the negotiations started. There’s literally no legal or financial details that can’t be worked out in such a long time. This is a boxing match, for heavens sake, not a peace treaty after a word war. It’s clear Fury doesn’t want the fight and will end up fighting Ngannou a mud wrestling match on the Moon instead or whatever deranged ideas he has in that bald head of his.
