Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez is in the works

Nice fight. If it come off it will be one to look forward to.

 

Josh the Duck is ducking Cat like the plague. I guess all that bs that Taylor did at the CEJ fight was all for show.

 

Taylor is doing anything possible to avoid Catterall rematch.

 

It was a robbery.

 

Catteral/Taylor was a horrible fight to watch, stylistically they were like chalk and cheese didn't match up well at all. Catteral does deserve a rematch, but like you said it's not a fight I'm overly excited to see based on how they match up.

I don't think Lopez/Taylor is that bad of a match up, and personally I'd rather see Prograis/Taylor rematch, their 1st encounter was one of my favourite fights in recent years.

 

While it may be a nice matchup Lopez has not done enough at 140 to earn a title shot. He's knocked out Pedro Campa and got a split decision win against Sandor Martin whose claim to fame is beating a chubby, unmotivated Mikey Garcia.

I'd like to see Teofimo beat a top contender before he gets a title bout.

So what the hell happened to Jack-Cat 2? Thought that was done and then Josh got injured?

Jesus Christ, what's going on with Josh's face? Dude looks like he's aged 20 years since the Cat fight.

 

Winner should take on either Regis Prograis or the winner of Matias/Ponce.

 

This is as clear an example of ducking as you'll see. I've lost all respect for Josh Taylor.

 

Seriously hard to pull for either guy in this fight. Who wins? Probably Taylor but who knows

 

Lopez has not earn a tittle shot. Taylor gave him the shot cause it will be and easy fight for Taylor.

 

Jack deserved the rematch, and Lopez does not deserve a title fight.
