Bro really pulled out of the Cattrall rematch. What a disappointment

Teo looked like **** and should've lost his last fight (a far bigger gift than Taylor got against Catterall), against the guy who shut Mikey Garcia out. Clearly Sandor Martin is a quality operator and IMO, far better and far slicker than Catterall. At the very least, Martin and Catterall are on the same level. So I'm not sure what the reasoning is here. I think it's the perfect loser gets relegated to the back of the line type match. Jack isn't getting screwed, their match was far from egregious and Taylor had him figured out in the second half anyway. It's a Froch-Groves II, pick up where he left off type match, and kind of pointless. Not sure what the Catterall fanboys are on about, do they really want to see him lose twice?

Give me a ****ing break. At best it was a point in either direction go either way type match. I've never seen so much ado about absolutely ****ing nothing. Perhap the most overblown "robbery" in boxing history, right up there alongside Pac-Horn.

Taylor has always been overrated IMO. But he pieces Teo up pretty easily.

Not a good look, Catterall deserved the rematch and Taylor now looking to duck the rematch and cash out against Lopez.

But at least it's a good fight, would be far worse if he fought some no name scrub but it's still not a good look, win or lose he has unfinished business with Catterall and the longer the rematch doesn't happen the worse it looks.

Now there's a good idea! Or how about winner takes of Prograis and loser takes on Matias? You'd get two very motivated fighters in the ring.

After all the great fights that would have advanced the concept of boxing as a fair and competitive sport (and not just a soulless grind meant to cash in on our sickest desires) we've been denied, let's allow ourselves to swerve this rematch that no one wants to see.

    We've earned it!

I don't mind this, decent tune up to shake off some rust before the Jack Cat rematch.

i like both of them because they have wasted no time in their careers and have gone for the best fights they can make, Teo taking on Lomachenko in 16 fights, and Taylor entering the WBSS with 12 and unifying. are they nice people? I don’t care, they’re not my friends, i just like enjoy watching them fight.

as for Catterall, i’m sure if he treads water long enough Warren/Sky can get him a mandatory/vacant title shot like last time.

No I remember watching it at work no commentary on. Catterall won 8 or 9 rounds and he dropped him.

Fairplay to both they've accomplished a lot early on in their careers. Both looked a bit over the hill in their respective last few fights though.

The fight was close, Taylor went life and death with jack and Jack earned his rematch not to mention it was scheduled atleast twice and hasn't happened. I think Taylor will win the rematch but that doesn't change the fact that the fight still needs to happen. I also think the jack rematch will be closer than teo Taylor will be. Teo has badly regressed as a fighter he has zero confidence and is ripe for the picking. Two years ago I would've loved a Taylor-teo fight now not so much. Taylor has a history of not running back close fights. Why hasn't the regis rematch not happened? Regis and Jack both deserve a fight before teo.
