Boxers that were homeless at some point

    In the sport with the toughest backgrounds there must be a lot of guys that were homeless before they made it. And unfortunately also a lot after their career was done.

    I think Dempsey and Pacquiao were homeless at some point and lived on the streets. Peterson brothers are also well documented.
    But who else?

    Iran Barkley was homeless for a little while after his boxing career ended.

    I believe Kirkland Laing and Johnny Britton may have been and I would count jimmy bivins being hidden in his daughters attic as well.

    Cocoa kid, Johnny Bratton, Sam Langford, Leon Spinks, Matthew Saad Muhammad, Roberto Duran and Jack Dempsey come to mind if I recall correctly.

    I believe Henry Armstrong was broke and shining shoes at one point but I could be wrong.
