Sims Jr should have fought the way he is from round 8 from round 1.

Boxxer always put on decent undercards to be fair to them featuring domestic fighters even if the main events aren’t as strong. For example the Beterbiev Yarde card recently could have done with a fight like this on there.

What a performance from Chelli! Sims Jr needed a big final round and still didn’t bother throwing anything. I doubt we’ll see him box in the UK again.

I can definitely see this being way closer on the scorecards. Wouldn’t be surprised if the judges gave Sims Jr rounds 1,2,8 and 9 and score it 96-94 Chelli.

 

Need a fine effort from three Terry O'Connor's to save Simms here tonight

 

We completely agree, but Frank Warren's undercards have generally been very poor in recent years.
