    Shades of Ronnie Pickering.

With a chin like that, he is advised not to drink his one can of lager pre match and slip quietly in and out of stadium.

Wonderful to see a young Muslim do well. As a Muslim myself, I am sometimes disillusioned by the general culture in boxing and its fandom. If only we lived in a Muslim world. Oh, Allah...

    Best of luck, Adam Azim.

They may have to move Adam slower than Ben shalom was talking pre fight.

Azim's punch mechanics are TERRIBLE. He's also a sucker for the left hook. If I were his trainer, I'd have him spar against fighters who have a good left hook.

I'd also make him switch to a high guard. No more of that "leaving your hands low" business.

What next for Chelli? Decent win for him last night, just not sure what is best for him now, maybe going after a few fading names at 168? Jacobs, Rosado, Uzcategui, or Dirrell or someone in the hope of raising his profile somewhat, it's a bit of a strange division right now with Alvarez as the top dog but seemingly having more than one eye on 175 and Benavidez waiting in limbo for a crack at him.

British trainers kind of suck. Of all the great trainers of the past and present, I can't think of any that were British.

I agree. Boxxer's show saturday night was a nice surprise with several good fights.

Apart from the main event, the Matchroom show on Saturday does not look particularly exciting, but we can hope that we will be pleasantly surprised. I will also keep an eye on the Felix Sturm show from Germany.
