Who cares? I don't see the fuss with Garcia vs Davis. Neither are the best in their division.

The fans of a sport that has an increasingly smaller market & budget on American networks cares.

it will help keep it on life support.
    At least here in US.

Right well that doesn't include me I'm afraid.

Sport needs reinventing completely and pretending this is a mega fight isn't something I'm on board with.

Well, wether you like it or not ,
Ryan Vs Tank = The Biggest fight with the most financial impact that Can be made in & for the sport of boxing here in the states = Mega fight.

    That includes
Progaris vs Ryan & Spence Vs Crawford combined.

AJ vs Fury would have been a nice Mega Fight too…
(All though now it’s way past prime.)

Well that is exactly the point. A fight between two (at best) top contenders with razor thin resumes and not single legitimate belt between them is one of the biggest fights of the year.

Someone has said its bigger than Spence v Crawford.

I just cba with all this diva, a side, non competitive bull **** that occurs in our sport.

It's a big deal that two unproven prospects are going to fight each other. The champ is Haney, the idea that any LW fight not involving him is one of the biggest fights in the sport, that underlines everything I hate about the sport of boxing.

No I just know the modus operandi of Team Garcia. PBC have been trying to make this fight for ages but it’s been clear Golden Boy don’t want it. Can’t say I blame them either.

So your issue is that the best fights in boxing aren't necessarily the biggest fights, and the biggest fights aren't the best possible fights.

I guess I can understand disliking that the most prestigous fights arent always the biggest... But that's always existed in boxing.

The biggest fights of the year and the best fights of the year don't always align.

I can understand someone being bitter about the best fights not happening, or the best fights not getting bigger audiences, but don't see what there is to be bitter about this fight or its reception... it's a big step in the right direction and a rare occurrence in this sport when two young undefeated A sides face off like this.

These two have cultivated significantly large followings. They are dynamic, very popular, and the fight is likely to be an exciting one that almost garuntees to not go the distance, and someone's 0 has to go.

I don't see why them not being the best should make someone bitter about the size of the event.

This fight is good for boxing, and is a rare bright light in a sport of ducking and marinating fights to expiration.
