Enjoy this tribute to the President himself Ike Ibeabuchi the undefeated uncrowned heavyweight champion of the world. Imagine what he would have done to the guys today. He was everything the peak great Evander Holyfield but better because he was bigger, stronger and just as fast with the intangibles, a well schooled boxer puncher masterfully trained and coached by the legendary Curtis Cokes former world champion:[url]

Thankyou my friend I enjoyed it all but one statement the guy made. Ike was not charged with raping that hooker he was charged with attempted ****. That hooker wasn't touched she even claimed " I only came to dance for him nothing else" ROFL !! yeah sure As anyone can see if Ike wanted to hurt anyone he could.
She wasn't touched neither were the two police officers who arrested him.
Look at his demeanor change after the Tua fight look at his face before the Byrd fight He was there to DESTROY!!. Ike had problems we all saw but only Curtis tried to get him help. He trusted Curtis
All the promoters were interested in was $$$$$$$$$$$$ they could make off him
The justice system did him wrong he was kept heavily sedated for months because they were scared of what he might do while they badgered him to take a plea promising he'd be back boxing in 6 months. he always professed his innocence. Eventually he capitulated but when it went to trial the woman judge gave him the max sentence possible 5-30 years. The rest is history.
This was such a shame, for not only Ike but for the late great Curtis Cokes too, because Ike had the tools to become the successor to Lennox Lewis & become the Heavyweight Champion of the World & live his dream. Its also the dream of every trainer to train the World Heavyweight Champion sadly neither lived it

Ike was a good fighter, but he had demons and loved women. I dont doubt he did those things that woman accused him of.

I don't think the informations here are accurate, nor are they on wikipedia. Ike received a long sentence not because he had trouble with women but because he crashed a car to a concrete pillar while the son of his ex girlfriend was aboard, leaving the kid handicapped for the rest of his life.

But regardless of what exactly caused him to get a long sentence, it was probably multi factorial. The guy was mentally gone.

Regarding his boxing, I think only Lewis beats him UD. Which doesn't mean Ike would not have the puncher chance against him. I rank him number 2 best HVW of that golden era. He was an Holyfield on steroid.

Do you really think he beats the Bowe of the first Holyfield fight or any version of Lewis?

Ike Ibeabuchi was a refresher for the heavyweight division in the second half of the 90s. Unfortunately, just when he was expected to have a title fight, his career ended. No one could fill the void (or what an ace it would be) in the years when 3 ATG heavyweights retired: Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, and Evander Holyfield (Holyfield didn't retire, but he should have). Ike Ibeabuchi would at least try to take the title in those years.
