This type of rubbish is why the sport is in a complete mess. When you have a clown like Fury playing games like this the sanctioning bodies should be stepping up. Titles and belts should be removed. Yes, boxing should be entertaining, but it is a sport none the less and is starting to become a circus now. Control the clowns and stop the clowns controlling the show.

But this is a 50/50 fight.
Both unbeaten, both legitimate heavyweight champions, both are clearly 1 and 2 in the division and both need the other to make the first undisputed heavyweight fight in decades. In fact Usyk once again having to travel to another fighters backyard should justify his 50% alone.

In an ideal world, yes. But as I said, this isn't about skill. If it was, then i absolutely agree its a 50/50 fight.

Maybe Usyk should make Fury some offers if he fancies being the A-side?? But we both know he wont becacuse he hasnt got the fanbase.
Sadly for us all, boxing is a buisness before its a sport. If I'm Fury, I'm looking at every option too. So should Usyk, but where is he getting a payday like this?? AJ 3??

If Usyk turns down 40% at Wembley, then thats a massive duck.

    Fury needs to be humbled.

    Karma is coming for him.

Pointless fight in a situation where the score is 2 wins and 1 draw (yet, we all know the reality is 3:0) - even if Wilder wins, he's still losing the competition. Plus, Fury is dropping a big *hit on his legacy.

For the sake of boxing, I hope this is just some gossip. And even if Fury-Usyk fails for April or at all, a backup should be Joyce, as it's too late for AJ if he would ever want to face Fury.

I hope this happens. I need Fury's name dragging through the mud so the general muppet British public can cool it down with their sycophancy

I want to say this is mind games but Chisora 3 literally happened... in a stadium... on PPV

This has been his plan all along. He only cares about preserving that artificial 0 loss record because that's what brings him the most money from the casuals who are happy to pay him whatever he does.

At this point, the guy is pretty much just a CEO of his own brand, participating in exhibition matches. He should be stripped of his belt, but of course, World Boxing Corruption would never do that. Krassyuk is in London right now, meeting with the Warrens. Team Usyk's only condition: the purse split has to be 50/50 - a very fair and justifiable request from the unified champion holding three of the belts. Krassyuk said this was the one and only condition and that if Team Fury agrees, the contract will be signed in three days. Simple, honest, straightforward, transparent - the way Team Usyk have always dealt with negotiations.

If from this point on Fury does not sign to fight Usyk, I'll consider it a clear W for Usyk over him.

Fortunately, Team Usyk is probably the most professional in the game today. I'm pretty sure they thought of every scenario, including this or the other thing with the Great Lent I was a bit concerned about. Usyk has been training since late December so I don't think Fury's shenanigans can mess with his preparation.

You must be joking. For the third Wilder fight, Fury had a **** camp, complete with COVID and a personal tragedy as well. He was overweight, his fitness was all over the place. I don't think he was more undercooked for a fight, ever. And while Wilder knocked him down twice, Fury still dominated him and knocked him out. No version of Wilder will ever be able to beat Fury.

Usyk, on the other hand, while won't knock him out, but most definitely can beat even the best possible version of Fury.

Fury is all about 50/50 two fighting men etc etc. He told us as much when he was angling for a shot at the then unified champion. So we know that if Usyk wants 50% Fury will have no problem agreeing and we can get to enjoying the fight we all want to see.

Unless he's entirely and utterly full of **** of course.

The sanctioning body whose belt Fury holds will happily forget about an undisputed match-up if they get to please Wilder's backers, they've already showed as much in the defences they sanctioned for him when he held the belt.

At some point someone will come along and defend this nonsense. Boxing appearing to attract more than its share of sado-masochists.
