Joseph Parker vs Michael Hunter in the works

A good fight between two unmotivated fighters hungry for easy money, somehow I don't know who would win, the fight is too even...

 

Hunter won't lose a single round and will make Parker look pathetic.

 

I hope Hunter made a bunch of money with whatever outfit he signed with that had him fighting fringe guys the last 3 years and not getting him any good fights in that timeframe. I expect him to beat Parker as long as he doesn't show up like he did against Forrest.

 

I'd like to say Hunter wins but I still have the Forrest fight in my brain............

 

Hunter should win against tjis damaged Parker.

Hunter will give a good fight some bigger guys, Like Makhmudov and Dychko.

Parker handles the former cruiserweight. I am often down on Parker, but Hunter never won anything and never was remotely what people on this board proclaimed him to be.

To play devil's advocate that applies equally to Whyte and he beat Parker.

199 lbs Hunter did roughly as well against Usyk in 2016 as 240 lbs Joshua did against Usyk in 2021. Hunter schooled undefeated prospects Bakole and Kuzmin, I've never seen Parker look as good as Hunter did in those fights. Parker's also likely carrying more wear than Hunter after all of those hard 12 rounders and the recent beating from Joyce. If Hunter turns up in Forrest 2 shape then he'll almost certainly lose but that's unlikely.

 

Michael Hunter is turning 35 and he hasn't won anything.

The last heavyweight Hunter beat was three years ago when he defeated like the 300th-rated Boxrec heavyweight Shaun Laughery. And he looked like garbage.

Joseph Parker is better than Michael Hunter.

C'mon. We know that.

 

I don't think Hunter is any good, and he sure as hell wouldn't last 11 against Joyce. Parker probably takes this one by decisions, but if he doesn't get that win best he considers winding down his career.

 

I think Parker will win. I am surprised so many are confident Hunter beats him. Let's put a poll up.
