    Don’t know that at all and like I said he was facing a Mexican assassin and his defence was porous which means Lara could get to him. This way he gets to fight another day.

    Also maybe Wood instructed Davison 'under no circumstances should you let the fight continue if I get hurt in there' and he momentarily forgot.

    Also Wood has to cut out this smacking his head on the canvas each time he's clipped. Makes for bad optics.

    He likes to proper bounce his noggin.

    Part of me was secretly pulling for Lara after I saw Wood pumping that disgusting keep away from me air jab all night. That's Davison's influence.

    As said, Wood is a Gatti gene fighter and there was only seconds left. Gatti gene fighters are never out of a fight while they're still conscious and they thrive in those seemingly impossible situations where other mortal men fail. You know this as a longtime fan of the sport, Olu. Many times we've seen fighters come back from the brink when it appeared all over, especially Gatti gene fighters
