    Finally finished watching it. Great back and forth fight and even more action than Wood vs Lara. But that stoppage was premature, much like Lara vs Wood. Still a great fight.

    Glad we at least had 2 great main event fights in 1 day.

    Inoue will unleash his fury on Nery after what happened to Yamanaka.
    If Nery got dropped and stopped by bodyshots from Figueroa I can only imagine how he’ll react from the body attacks of Inoue.

    No question about it.

    Nery is lucky he didn't go missing after the disrespect he showed towards the Yamanaka clan. I have 'business associates' who are high up members in the Yamanaka clan and believe you me if he shows his face in Japan again he will find himself on the wrong end of some long overdue Konan street justice.

    LOL, I thought you might say that. I noticed we scored all of the rounds the same. I am going to rewatch round three. It's the one round where I disagreed with all three judges.

    Bit of a random choice, but I don't mind it.

    This is the fifth super bantamweight fight to win the fight of the year award in the last 24 years. The other four being: Morales-Barrera I, Somsak-Monshipour and Vasquez-Marquez II-III.
