Looks this will be on April 29, which will clash with Fury at Wembley whether he fights Usyk or not. Surely they should change the date to May / later on. They don’t need to risk it either with Smith 8 weeks after going 12 rounds and suffering a small cut against a quality operator in Sam Maxwell.

There is zero chance that Eddie goes on that date if Fury gets confirmed this week. It’s not even that good of a fight anyway

 

MTK were big on Maxwell in their heyday but I was never all that sure why, he's not a bad fighter but isn't ever going to set the world alight. Think this'll be a pretty easy win for Smith, lopsided decision.

Same, I thought he was 28 but I think that's when he turned pro. Mad really, I seem to remember there being some hype around him but I think the KO defeat and his age means that he's probably seen as a stepping stone now, I expect Smith to deal with him, too easy to hit.
