Exactly WHY would Carl Froch need to fight Anderson Silva first??? He is just shooting his mouth off, calling out a fighter that has been retired for nearly a decade thinking he won't take the fight.

Jake Paul is ruining an already fragile boxing. His legion of idiots would rather see 2 people with big mouths and internet fame fight, than 2 actually talented elite real boxers.

Carl Froch would destroy Jake. It wouldn't even be close. He is gonna go life and death with Tommy Fury ffs.

 

So right!! Nice to see that there are some REAL boxing fans who see the Paul Brothers for exactly the opportunists and dilettantes they are - degrading and cheapening this fine sport, turning it into a WWF-like playacting FARCE.

The posters above me aren't morally wrong, but they misunderstand what they're watching. You're consuming professional sports which are a subsection of showbiz. Money is doled out based on how much interest you generate. Floyd Mayweather, the fighter we point to as one of the greatest ever, has a 0-0 MMA fighter on his official record. Connor McGregor is part of Floyd's 50-0.

Most people just want to watch an entertaining scrap where the tides turn a few times, and aren't that conerned with skill level. Most people don't even understand what they're watching, have never been in a gym, and can't see who landed hard in a quick exchange, but these are the people who pay the bills. Robberies aside, if you want to watch elite competition with the purity of the sport more intact, follow the amateur boxing scene.

 

Agreed the fact that Jake Paul is even mentioning Carl Froch's name is disrespectful in his prime he would murder Jake Paul in under a minute even today he would probably still beat him in one or two rounds. Froch is a legend of the sport and this clown Paul should keep his mouth shut as he has no intention of ever fighting Froch.

 

Froch beats I'm now. Froch has things that can't be learned. He doesn't need the money he has millions.

 

I stopped watching YouTube boxing after that ridiculous Paul Vs Mayweather fight. However this is actually a somewhat decent fight and I’m sure there’s gonna be a lot of ridiculousness and shenanigans which will be fun to watch. So I think I will lift my YouTube boxing boycott and buy the PPV for this one.
