I think your misunderstanding what I'm saying, I don't think Toney beats the best modern Heavyweights of today like Fury, Usyk, etc. But I do give him a chance against the fighters below them like Whyte, Chisora, Parker, etc.

Also I don't think your taking into account the manner in which Toney beat Holyfield, because stopping Holyfield deserves some credit. Especially when Toney's best weightclass was 3 or 4 divisions below Heavyweight, and the fact Holyfield was never stopped in his career again after Toney. Also the fact that Holyfield was only ever stopped prior to Toney when he sick with Hepatitis vs Bowe.

So overall yes Holyfield was past it we agree on that, but taking into account Toney started his career at Middleweight. And was only the 2nd fighter to ever stop Holyfield, I think Toney does deserve some credit overall.

I understand what you are saying. A semi shot Toney (who was a great middleweight) beat a totally shot Hollifield by KO. Therefore, he can beat modern day HW’s in the bottom five. That’s some solid logic.

Did Toney not compete with other Heavyweights ? Like Peter ? Rahman ? Ruiz ? Guinn ? Oquendo ? Are they any worse than the likes of Whyte ? Chisora ?

The same Toney (who stood 5’9”) who lost twice to Montell Griffin at LH, in his prime, is going to beat modern day heavyweight top ten (bottom half) because he KOd a shot Evander Hollifield? I like your logic.

Not being mean, sorry for being a smart ass. Words seem so serious, I’m saying this with a smile. Sorry.

Well the Griffin fights were highly controversial, but I don't really see how they're revelant to how Toney does at Heavyweight. I could just say well look at Toney's great performance vs Jirov which was at Cruiserweight.

I'm not just basing it on Toney beating Holyfield, I gave you other examples were Toney competed against 6 other Heavyweights, who were on the same level and some even above the likes of Chisora, Whyte. I don't think its outrageous to think Toney could out point Chisora, Whyte. Look at Whytes recent fight, he struggled against a small fat Heavyweight with no power, who relied on his skills and defence who does that remind you of ?

Toney was never a legit HW, but go and remind yourself of today’s top 10.

Some of the things you typed made me laugh.

Such as: Toney - A very hard fight to predict

Obviously you were just joking there.

I can’t agree with the K Bros predictions:

Vitali - Wouldn’t have laid a glove on him?

    Don’t be silly.

Wlad - Was just a loser in 2003

Wlad was very vulnerable when he was younger, because he didn’t pace himself, and he wasn’t as cautious as what he was in his prime. However, that actually made him extremely dangerous when he was young. Because he was far more offensive and far more aggressive.

You needed a lot of power and a great offense to stop him in his tracks at that point.

Both the K Bros would have been huge favourites over James. And I say that as one of his biggest fans.

We saw him fight at HW in his own time.

Go and look at today’s top 10 fighters.

Some of them would have been a bridge too far, but some of them are nothing special at all.

He’d have had a realistic chance of beating some of them.

Hrgovic looked really poor the last time I saw him, and Parker is nothing special at all.

True but then again he never foughr anybody noteworthy afterwards. Maybe if you want to count Valuev but he's a slow guy who's easy to evade

Well he fought some decent guys like Ibragimov, Valuev, Donald, Oquendo, and a couple of guys from his era like Savarese, Botha. Ok not ATG's by any means, but as i said i think we all agree Holyfield was past it against Toney, but the fact Toney did actually manage to stop him deserves come credit i think.

He wasn't even legal , he was juiced to fk .. the guy got shut out by sam peter ffs.. he fought a load of those HWs that were hanging around the top 10 back in the 00s & did well but he wouldn't be the top Boys then and I don't think he would do so now..
