    He overcame adversity and won and to prove it he won even more decisively in the rematch. The Russian did not want a 3rd match and Kathy Duva is still crying about it.

    Ward showed tremendous heart coming back in second half of first fight with Kov but he didn’t deserve that decision. Everyone knows it.

    The first match was gifted to him by the judges....the second by the ref.

    Why would he want a third match ?

    Kovalev is a bad individual outside of the ring but in his prime he’s one of the great LHWs. I hate that he was robbed and this win isn’t on his official resume. There still would have been a rematch but he deserved the win this night. I feel the same way about GGG vs Canelo 1..

    This is partly true.

    It is soul destroying to be denied your rightful, hard-earned dues.


    Minor correction, however... the soul-destroying robbery was the work of the judges, not Dre.
