Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez is set for June 10th in NY

I figured this, there was no way Lopez was coming over to Scotland!

 

Even though I would have liked the Catterall rematch, this really isn’t a bad alternative

 

I might go to this one. I wonder how much tix will be.

 

Big fight for ESPN+, Hopefully winner fights Cat.

I'm stoked. The build up will surely be intense and I'm positive that this will be a fun fight once they finally meet in the ring.

 

While I completely agree with you. Dudes like Teo don't drink Scotch, I promise you that. He definitely drinks liquor that has huge marketing campaigns and low quality. This guy drinks Patron 100% haha.

 

Imagine if Lopez is able to be both Loma and Taylor... on paper that should make him the p4p best fighter on the planet.. but it will be hard to give him that label because he lost to a fairly average fighter in Kambosos and just struggled with a Euro level guy (Martin) badly.. he's having such a strange career Lopez.. Blitzed commey yet struggled with Nakatani... beat Loma yet lost to an Australian ice cream vendor.. its bizarre.. I actually won't be shocked if he beats Taylor because I think he might be dead at the weight

Taylor should beat the crap out of Lopez but i'm worried about another bad weight cut and him looking flat in the ring. Teofimo is absolute garbage and should have got a big fat Loss to Sandor Martin but if he beats Taylor after dethroning Loma it'd be hilarious. Beating Talyor and Loma and losing to Sandor Martin and George Kambosos.

 

Lopez has weird vibes.

Taylor should be able to KO Lopez, but after that drama with Catteral, I don't know what to expect from him.

 

This fight was supposed to happen after Teo was done retaining over Kambosos,

Either way i can see it now two heavy flat footed guys throwing slow hard punches while clinching with the occasional headbutt & elbows,

Most likely will fall onto the boring side, i hope to be wrong.
