Fury and Arum Holding Up Fury-Usyk, They Don't Think Usyk Deserves 50%

This is the problem with social media. People see a dozen people say something and think it represents the masses. It doesn't at all. I'm not defending Fury and agree this fight should have been signed months ago. It still doesn't change the fact that he is a massive draw and still the 2nd most popular boxer on planet earth after Canelo.

 

You think he doesn’t deserve 50% ?

This is Usyk giving Fury an opportunity, not the other way around.

Usyk has the belts and is rated higher p4p than Fury.

Fury isn’t as big of a draw as you would think either, he’s no AJ when it comes to commercial value.

This should be an easy 50/50 split otherwise Fury is ducking

 

Fury is a ***** if he think Uysk doesn't deserve 50%. From the very beginning, pretty much everyone in boxing agreed that it should be 50/50.

Uysk has one of the deepest resumes in boxing, so making big fights has never been an issue with him. Fury on the other hand has fought in a lot of questionable fights while dodging important fights.

 

If Fury doesn't put pen to paper it's a duck.

 

His PPV sales were nowhere near close to what Usyk's have been generating these past 4-5 years. He is popular no doubt but you overrate his popularity.

 

His achievements deserve 50%, but boxing sadly is a buisness nowadays and Usyk doesnt sell squat. He got 30% off of Chisora FFS, then had to BEAT AJ just to get 50% (in Arabia)

Oleksandr Usyk absolutely does not deserve 50% against Tyson Fury at Wembley or anywhere in the UK.

He can always fight chisora again. The fight that everybody wants.

I'm a Fury fan but it's a clear as day duck when you consider all the s*** Fury has talked in the past about not being about money & wanting to fight the best & ducking no one.. he has a genuine rival in Usyk & 50/50 sounds fine to me.. the guy owns 3 of the belts ffs.. he doesn't fancy it so fk him , it will go down as a historical duck and no amount of damage control from anybody on here or involved will alter that .. I'm embarrassed to be a british boxing fan at the minute, we are a fkin joke .. our Fighters are too greedy and too soft & have too much ego & are mollycoddled by our cuck media

 

If Boxing is a business then your comments make no business sense. Fury taking 50% of the purse with Usyk gets him more money than taking 70-80% of a purse fighting anyone else in the sport besides AJ.

So business wise, Fury should still take the fight at 50% ….

Tyson Fury has written his chapter in boxing and the day he decides that's it. Then that's it.

& you know what's funny? The same applies to Usyk. When he loses to Fury it doesn't make a damn difference. If you take it away from Usyk you're a fool and to give Fury credit is irrelevant.

Only one thing going forward matters and that's who is the future of the heavyweight division...and his name is JOE JOYCE.

 

All going to be quite funny when he comprehensively defeats Usyk, like he's just another bum, shows the usual good sportsmanship in the immediate aftermath calling Usyk a legend of the sport etc, before serenading him and his adoring audience with a rendition of American Pie.....

Further down the line he will use Usyk as an example of how he "slaps silly little midgets around for fun" or words to that effect, when telling his next victim what he thinks of their chances against him.

All the while many in this thread will be thinking up ways to explain to us how he is **** scared of and clearly ducking Lawrence Okolie, Daniel Dubouis or Jermaine Franklin.
