I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

The one positive if Tommy Fury does somehow blitz Jake Paul (which I’m doubtful of big time), he would hopefully then proceed to clean out KSI who is a proper bellend.

Tbf to Tommy he would actually endear himself to most boxing fans if he took both of them out.

Makabu would put Paul in hospital pretty quickly.

I will wait till I see them both on Sunday before I decide. I've never watched Jake Paul because he's never fought a boxer. This is my first time at the rodeo with him, surely Makabu might be on the decline by now

Sunday is a strange one as its a ppv between 2 novices.

For the boxing purists it's a mad situation in who to root for u have a "boxer " and a YouTuber does it harm boxing if the YouTuber wins ??

Strangely the so called boxer of the two is happier to be more of a model/reality star and is only well known due his brother being world champ and being on shite like love Island

Whereas the so called YouTuber who has more money than God and could basicly make money doing anything (certainly doesn't need box) has put lots time money effort into sparring coaching and tbf to him has promoted boxers well himself.

Although I disagree with Paul getting a ranking if he wins he does bring eyes to sport has paid his fighters well and yes makes a he'll lot money out sport but seems to enjoy love sport, the guy also has some decent banter and has tortured Tommy fury ,

9 times out 10 would rather boxer win but in this case not. Don't really want see these sort fights but understand sport and life generall atm is in a strange space and doesn't look like going anywhere. Once he fights a decent fighter at world level he will obviously lose and lose badly but ridding us of likes of Tommy fury fighting guys horrendous losing records while claiming be real fighting men crap I have no issue with

100% agree with you there. KSI is a bellend. How he's managed to amass a following that's made him wealthy beyond his own dreams, I'll never understand. There's a lot of idiots growing up in the next generation.

He is on the decline but not to the point he would need to be. He would sleep Paul early and violently, as would all of the top 15

He would. Better earning millions fighting them, than two Latvian taxi drivers for a fraction of the money.

The Principality Stadium has been booked for December for KSI. If Jake Paul wins it will be Jake Paul KSI on that date.

Makabu could be paid to take a dive to be fair. I wouldn't be surprised.

I stopped watching him when I was 11 which was 8 years ago. He isn't even funny just loud.

I do think Tommy Fury will win on Sunday but I expect there to be a rematch because there is too much money involved for there not to be. I can see Paul claiming the result was unfair / a robbery.

I've changed my pick this week and bet on Fury pts. Kid has enough boxing fundamentals, and from his demeanour this week he seems a mentally solid guy, previously I thought he was lacking heart but I've seen no chinks in the armour to suggest this. Man is oozing confidence.

I’m still leaning for Paul. Granted I haven’t listened to any of the media or press conferences this week, the way I look at it I genuinely believe Tommy’s confidence is 100% founded on the fact that Jake Paul is a YouTuber and he can’t fathom being beaten by one.

IMO Tommy is really deluded about his own ability - he is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is. Paul is also a much more confident guy. He’s fought on this platform several times now in front of millions. Tommy hasn’t. If one of them was to freeze on Sunday night it will be Fury because of the pressure the boxing public and his own family have put on him to win this fight.

I don't buy the line "this puts eyes on boxing".

    It doesn't.

The Love Island/Instagram/Tiktok crowd might watch this nonsense, but it doesn't make sense that they'll then tune into a British bantamweight title fight next week or something.

Is this the first fight for young fury where his opponent has had a proper training camp and not given max 2 weeks notice?

Exactly this, people keep harping on about it "bringing a new audience to boxing" but ask yourselves, do you really want the YouTube Tiktok crowd suddenly piping up with their ridiculous comments and half baked opinions when there's a British title fight on?
