I think it could be a decent fight,but I cant see how either of them are popular enough for this to be a success on PPV. Have the casual fans even heard of them both let alone support them well enough to part with £20 to watch them fight
Unless it's crazy money then it doesn't need AJ-level buys to get anywhere near breaking even. 100,000 buys would help the event wash its face with Sky putting their regular TV fees in on top (or out of their PPV share). Back in the day Brook and Froch PPVs did less than 50,000 buys - the AJ wave caused some crazy numbers for a while with the likes of Whyte, Chisora and Bellew but it had to settle back down eventually.
How much do you think both guys currently get for fights? I think Riakphore has an Adidas deal too. And Okolie will make a lot from all the Mr Tickle merch
