they tried to do that to Floyd also. But Floyd just schooled his ass. Too wide of a win

"Why?", as in why I have asked if you have a problem with reading comprehension? If so, because I said:

"clearly it's (the list I posted) from 10 years ago so we can't read anything into Canelo's exclusion". As in Canelo's absence in itself isn't proof that the author wouldn't have him in their top 100 list now. I posted the list to give you an idea of the sort of fighter Canelo would have to surpass to become an ATG in my view, specifically referencing ODLH, who was ranked #74 on that list.

    You then replied:

"Pulling up some list that isn't up to date with Pac and Canelo. Comedy Gold"

You’d probably rank Floyd higher if he lost to Canelo and won in the rematch like your boy Leonard did with Duran.

Canelo would be an ATG in that case.

    Not at all.

As I've explained to you on 3 or 4 occasions previously, I rank SRL # 17 p4p all time & Mayweather # 18. That ranking is more favourable to Mayweather than the majority of posters on this thread, as indicated by recent polls. So calling SRL my "boy" is a further indication of your struggles with reading compression - you literally don't understand what you read.

Yeah, because there was no difference between Duran, and the Canelo that Floyd fought, right?

Canelo didn’t quit, to be fair.

    Brilliant.

    Very witty of you.

Probably one of your best posts.

The main difference, is that Duran had already beaten a prime Leonard, whereas Canelo had barely beaten Austin Trout.

They were just fighters of a different calibre.

One day, you’ll hopefully expand your way of thinking, instead of just obsessing over the statistics.

Another great Rummy video. Thanks for sharing. As for Floyd ever fighting The Hit Man?? There's no way Floyd would get within 50' of a ring with Tommy in it lol A guy that was at that shindig where Margarito walked up to Floyd & just politely asked through an interpreter " Why wont you fight me" said he was amazed Floyd went hysterical blabbering like Daffy Duck. That video that was doing the rounds with Arum in it didn't really show it all. Floyd was literally terrified he said. Imagine what Floyd would be like seeing The Hit Man across the ring staring at him LOL

Canelo is not and will never be close to the level of a Duran. People forget how Duran was truly a beast when he was young.
He beat the hell out of Palamino as well at welterweight and beat up Buchanan who was a very soild champion.
Massacred Cuevas at welterweight as well.
Canelo does have talent of course but he is a manufactured fighter because he sells tickets. Hes had some very close bouts that could have possibly gone the other way.

Not the Duran of the Moore fight he doesnt. Duran has far too many moves for Canelo and thats just a fact. He isnt going to beat Duan on the inside because Duran is simply too slick.

There is no "Moore Duran" etc. Moore was a very inexperienced fighter who played into Duran's hands (no defense). If he were fighting Benitez on that night he would've coincidentally been "Past Prime Duran."
