Fury and Arum Holding Up Fury-Usyk, They Don't Think Usyk Deserves 50%

I still think Fury destroys Usyk if they ever fight. I really want Usyk to win, but my gut feeling is he gets annihilated.

BUT.......if Fury punks out & the fight never happens, then I will argue that Usyk would have won - I just gotta figure out how, & I'm good.

 

You got that wrong, there's no need to hate on Fury any longer. The guy's done and a middleweight midget stuck a fork in him. Usyk killed his career. Fury is nothing but a modern-day Bowe - except Bowe was more accomplished of course as Bowe didn't just beat up the same limited fighters for years. Usyk rendered Fury into irrelevance, his WBC belt is meaningless. He might as well wipe his arse with it. His legacy can never recover from this, no matter how many more hagiographies you put out here and how many simpletons go and pay for seeing him mud wrestle with Ngannou.

Fury is the lineal champ with the 2nd longest reign. Usyk beat a bodybuilder.

 

That's already a generous assumption that Fury was ever, even for a single day, the lineal champion since it was proven he beat Klitschko while juiced up. But in any case, Fury lost the right to call himself a lineal champion when he failed to show up for the Klitschko rematch and had a two-year PED ban to boot. If you don't turn up to your job for two years, you don't get to keep the job. Simple.

Fury either never was a legit lineal champ since he cheated when he beat Wlad or he lost the lineal title when he didn't give a contractual rematch and got banned. It's up to you which scenario is less painful for you to accept. The main thing is: Klitschko was lineal when Joshua beat him in 2017, he relinquished the title briefly to Ruiz but got it back in the rematch, and then Usyk beat AJ twice in a row. This means that Usyk is the reigning lineal and unified champion - this makes Fury ducking him even worse than Bowe's back in the day.

 

I will tell you what we all know, nothing not a thing simple as that . Nobody outside the Saudis,Team Usyk and Team Fury know exactly what was in those contracts that were sent out .

 

The fights don’t matter, what matters is who draws the money, Fury draws the money…is recognized as “the man”, and isn’t giving Usyk 50/50.

Commercially it’s hard to dispute that Fury is the bigger name and brings more revenue to the table. Therefore he wants the bigger piece. Not the first or the last time this has happened. 60/40 seems about fair.

 

It’s even up on the UKAD page that after the Hamer fight Fury was tested more often leading up to and after the Wlad fight .

 

But Fury doesnt care about money. Could live in a council flat and be happy remember?
He's just duckig this fight cause he isnt confident enough he can beat Usyk. Doesnt want to get schooled for the world to see and take that confidence hit.

 

Why should he duck? He is at the end of his career. He'll get at least £75 M for fighting Usyk.
