People need to pull there heads in, this is a great match up and good entertainment value, its not Jake Paul's fault the best of the best refuse to fight each other so fights like these are on entertainment value the best we get!
I really can't call this fight at all. It's an enigma to me. Not because they are both good, but because they are both so limited, as is the info on them. Power - Jake Jab - Fury Strength/Natural Size - Jake Footwork - Fury Speed - About even Experience - About even (Fury has started boxing earlier, Paul been on bigger stage, done 8 rounders) I have no doubt in my mind, Anderson Silva is the best victory either guy has had, but is Tyron Woodley better than someone like Jordan Grant? Jake has apparently been beating up Chad Dawson in sparring, and comfortably beat Rahman Jr (On video) 3 years ago, I'd imagine he's a lot better now. Tommy gets hit with overhand rights ever single fight, and that is Jake's best punch. Current prediction is I think Tommy will be winning with his jab until Jake catches him.
Jake Paul has only used all the dirty tricks and sleights of hand that already exist in boxing to build a name. Boxing deserves Jake Paul.
Can someone tell me when this **** fight actually takes place in GMT? I've got 2 weeks off work starting tomorrow so might as well watch Jake batter this bodybuilder if I'm spending the whole evening fiddling with my **** anyway
& have helped maintain it as a billion dollar industry After Floyd & Pacquiao retired the money men became Tyson Fury & that ginger dude who Bivol jabbed up but being able to produce "stars" and maintain that revenue stream is easier said than done. After Floyd retired we got the era of the Paulo bro's two youtube stars who could draw young new fans doing boxing matches which Floyd being the shrewd businessman jumped on. It turned into a billion dollar industry by primarily knocking over MMA bums but my god they were happy about it because they finally got payed. The demise of the UFC monopoly which doesn't pay fighters their worth has now come with Francis Nnganou leaving and anyone worth anything quickly leaving before they can make Dana an easy buck. It's now 2023 and any promoter who knows ANYTHING needs to get in on this social media hype. The dinosaurs will be dead soon. Arum, Warren, Haymon and none of them have really adapted. Eddie Hearn being the young whipper snapper will probably get involved but he has failing projects like DAZN and dead golden gooses to deal with...he's also fruitlessly trying to promote Womans boxing because he's been brainwashed by the powers that be. The real trick here is to get it back to the UK & USA instead of letting the Saudi's hijack it (ooof that wording) The success or failure of Jake Paul Vs Tommy Fury this weekend will have knock on effects that people don't yet realize. Particularly enabling Fury Usyk to happen for the money it deserves we're talking hundreds of millions not $40m each or less. This is potentially Jake's cash out fight so the baton will be handed over to Tommy. The WBC have already got their skin in the game trying to legitimize the clown show but hey welcome to the entertainment business and that's what any sport needs, viewers.
It is still unclear whether Paul's fights are fixed or not. fury has played only 6 fights and is a second-third level boxer who can't go further in terms of career and he knows that. Who knows that he too has not made an agreement with Paul to scrape together a few million extra dollars to lose?
