Furys dad accepted the "all or nothing" bet made by Paul so theoretically he gets zero if he loses. Somehow I don't think that so called bet would stand up in a court of law.
Hope Tommy boxes smart and doesn't try and throw the crazy combos he does vs his hand picked bums. He always gets caught with overhand right when he does. Just stick to jab and treat Jake as a dangerous commodity and he should outbox him. Boring for us, the fans, but a Win.
Regardless of how high you have Jake ranked on your current P4P 10 rankings or historically on your all time one, fact is, despite his playboy reputation and aversion to training, Tommy Fury does descend from royal lineage He is the brother of the HW GOAT He is actually up for this fight He has actually trained like a demon for the first time in his life That blue blood does course through his veins And that Gypsy Slickness is present in every strand of his DNA Remember how poor his brother Tyson looked until he started taking the sport seriously and actually trained more than once a month? He went from bum status to GOAT status seemingly overnight. The transformation was simply astonishing. On paper, Tommy should be too fast, active, slick, mobile, and experienced for Jake who I believe is a borderline shot fighter now after re-watching his last fight, and, as much as it pains me to admit this, Tommy's fast hands, rapier jab, movement, know-how, underrated power, and the elephant in the room ie. his PEDs should prove too much for this version of Jake. Lyndon Arthur said Tommy is one of the hardest punchers he's shared a ring with and he's not the only one I've heard praise Tommy's power. Word on the street is Tommy has been wrecking his sparring partners for this fight and there has been lots of talk about broken jaws, flattened noses, KDs, and HL reel KOs. But fights aren't won on paper and special athletes are capable of performing amazing feats and achieving incredible things and Jake is a special athlete and we know that the last thing to leave a puncher is their power and if he can manage to turn back the clock and land flush on Tommy's chin with that vaunted right hand from hell of his he will send him to the shadow realm. There's a reason why Tommy finally accepted the fight now after shamelessly ducking Jake for years. Father Time remains undefeated and no one has a better resume than him. Can you think of another fighter who can boast as many GOATs, ATGs, legends of the sport, and world champions on their CV as him or even remotely close? And sadly I feel Father Time is going to score one of his greatest wins tomorrow night
This is one of the funniest things I've ever read on here. By which I mean "Insightful and well-reasoned". Very hard to argue with any of it.
Wow. Watched a bit more of Fury for research, the boy literally gets hit with overhand right at will. He CAN NOT avoid that shot. **** poor defence. Jake Paul will sleep him with a right i'm sure of it now.
Thanks. No one can argue with a towering wall of truth which stands that high and is built that strong
I do expect to see Paul bring in more and more pro wrestling elements to his shows, a last second opponent switch would be cool. As long as they were up front with the sanctioning body I don't see why it couldn't happen.
