I turned my nose to this, but that’s not far off. I’d raise you Ricky Burns, apart from that I’m struggling lol

 

Yeah, but Mchunu clearly won that fight and the writing was clearly on the wall to anyone watching that Makabu had clearly seen better days. He was a good, albeit vulnerable titlist with the wars finally catching up to him. Jack deserves some credit here for going up in weight and winning another belt at 39, but definitely needs to be viewed in context. Plenty of guys could go up to CW from 168-175 and beat this heavily faded version of Makabu.

 

Canelo would put a hydration clause in there so would even it out.

 

Makabu was the WBC champion and Jack ripped his belt away. Very impressive.
