Assuming Canelo beats Ryder - which isnt automatic but should be the case - how do you see Bivol 2 playing out?

Canelo was seemed exhausted in the fight and it was hard to tell exactly why. Rumour has it he switched to a vegan diet, could that be it? Bivol's unrelenting pressure, could that be it (physically and mentally)? Canelo had too much muscle mass, could that be it?

Needless to say the question is can Canelo beat Bivol in a rematch?

Cant forget how differently he fought GGG2 so giving credit that he can signifcantly change a gameplan but Bivol just has a crazy tank and, well, Canelo doesnt.

The skills gap was too wide for the Clen Monster to overcome. On top of that, Bivol is a very mobile fighter and he's actually pretty slick.

I think Bivol might actually try to stop Clenelo in a rematch... and succeed.

I think you nailed it with Canelo switching to the vegan diet.

It's either that, that wore Canelo out or getting punched in the head so many times.

Yeah I think Bivol will be even more confident the second time around. Lets just hope he is not silly enough to agree to the fight at 168

Bivol wasn't following the script which confused Canelo. Canelo was so used to the script that was given to previous opponents that he got lazy.

Canelo is more explosive with short hooks, but Bivol has at least equal handspeed when throwing long, straight punches. Bivol is significantly taller and rangier, lighter on his feet and is better at controlling the distance. Those disadvantages, in combination, are going to be extremely difficult for Canelo to overcome.

At 168, Canelo will win. And unfortunately, I’m pretty confident it’ll take place at 168.

No way Canelo fights Bivol at 168. Bivol can make 168 and if they meet at this weight he will take all of Canelo’s belts. He will also take Canelo’s excuse for losing. At least at 175, the only thing Canelo loses is the fight. His excuses are still intact at the higher weight.

The vegan diet lol. He will shorten his career. He will have more injuries and tear with this diet.

Aside from power, Bivol has almost every physical advantage over Canelo. He also has better footwork, jab and IQ. Taller, longer, faster. Nothing Canelo can do.

The hight reach is to much in my opinion for Canelo to overcome and he don't have the power to hurt Bivol I think Canelo is more skilled or equally skilled

You cant hit whats not there. Canelo likes the bull, not the matador. Canelo usually has faster hands than all of his opponents, but Bivol matches that plus much quicker feet.

I mean Canelo really didnt take much punishment. Neither guy had good offense but Bivol had like twice the output and Canelo only threw like 375 punches...thats like 30 punches a round...yeesh

Bout will be at 168 and Bivol will need a wheelbarrow to take all those belts with him when he leaves the ring.

It’s hard to see anything other than a Bivol win again. Bivol is an elite operator and even worse is the fact that he is super content with just boxing to a victory. Canelos bread and butter is counterpunching or facing over matched opponents. Bivol just does not give those openings, and even as a canelo fan, there is no way I see him being a pressure fighter for 12 rounds. But hey, I hope he proves me wrong.
