One mans significant is another mans not relevant.

Rigondeaux was a great fighter. Make no mistake about that, one that came up what? Two weight classes just for this fight cause nobody else would get him any payday. Strike Guillermo from your list.

What greats did this Miguel Marriaga beat? He is not a significant thing that all time greats are made out of.

Jason Sosa is even worse man. And Nicholas Walters is pretty similar in quality to those two.

I acctually am a Lomachenko fan believe it or not and I think that he is a great fighter that was born or turned pro at the wrong time into a weight class that really didn't allow him to shine and I don't think that those facts are his fault.

When I however read stuff like the things you just wrote, I simply want to vomit and forget all about this Loma guy.

Btw I am against this fight taking place cause I do believe that it will be one-sided and that it will unfairly elevate Haneys name while unfairly drag Lomas one through the dirt. But that's what our glorious sport is all about, mismatches to create wwe nonsense hype.

It will likely be a shock to Haney's racist mentally ill fan base

Haney beating Russell means literally nothing.

I don’t think it will shock many fight fans if Loma wins. Haney is young and bigger but he is a feather fist and I can see Loma figuring him out and getting to him. Loma is showing a bit of age but he’s still great. He’s just fighting a guy two weight classes higher than his natural weight. The size and youth will keep it competitive but I see Loma putting on a clinic and winning a UD.

    Haneys getting KO'd

He went life and death with a little pressure fighting southpaw in JoJo Diaz. Devin has no power at all to keep Loma honest.

He is not beating Lomachenko. I just do not see it

What you said about him being in his third & fourth weight class, that's the answer.

Yeah but Haney has improved since those Jojo & Linares fights, but then again it could just be because he was facing the Emperor & we all know what kind of caliber level fighter he is/was.

Nah.. I don't think most of the world cares but regardless of that he's too small and he's too old now, love the guy but his window has passed & like many Fighters he was avoided in his prime.. if the tables were evened up and it was a same day weigh in then yes I would favour him but these guys are absolute Weight grifters these days & it's amazing what 24-hours can do

Yes, I was a more referring to the size difference, and Loma and Gamboas top level amateur experience.

Gamboa, like Loma may also have been a bit past his peak at the time, while still being dangerous

This is a good fight to bet on if you knew the judging would be fair.

I thought Loma would be favored.
    Way better resume.
    Much like tank vs Ryan
Loma gives up youth , height & reach,
But is the smarter fighter with superior experience.

Haney is the underdog in this fight. Lomachenko just had bad day against Teofimo.
