Loma is getting up there and his fight was no ringing endorsement that he still has it. That being said he is still has incredible talent that it rivaled by no one. If he has anything left he will take apart Haney and lay a beating upon him.

To all of the Haney backers, I encourage all of you to watch back the Haney vs. JoJo Diaz fight, the mere fact that a guy like Diaz won between 4 to 5 rounds off of Haney, and this is a Diaz that was coming off of struggling mightily with Jesus Cuadro, Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov, Javier Fortuna and losing to Gary Russell Jr. That a fairly lead footed featherfisted SOUTHPAW who's risk averse with pisspoor footwork and fights in spurts was that competitive..... should worry you all immensely.

I don’t see how Haney wins this unless he has really improved and Loma has really declined. Haney is still untested at the elite level despite having the belts.

But then I look as this fight bro and wonder what Loma has left. 3 years prior to this he schools Ortiz no problem. He's going to face the same issues with Haney. I know their styles are totally different (Ortiz, Haney) but Haney has the same physical advantages and at this level, the experience to make the needed adjustments. Its a great fight, but Haney should be the clear favorite here.

I looked at that fight, and saw him schooling (116-112) a very intelligent and versatile switch hitter who beat Jamel Herring just as impressively as Shakur Stevenson, something that Haney is not. Which merely reinforced to me why Lomachenko will dismantle the fairly rudimentary and orthodox Haney with relative ease, and should be the clear favorite here.

I gotta disagree. 3 years ago wed be on the same page, but not today. If Loma wouldn't have struggled against the bigger Ortiz I'd give him a better shot, but Haney is fighting on all cylinders and has the confidence and championship experience to win this fight, he's a developed UD champion now. If I'm wrong ill give full credit, I always do but I don't see it happening.

I am sure many think Loma will win especially the religious cult of the Lomasexuals who think Loma is a deity. Haney is very skilful and fundamental sound so I pick him to win and I think both Tank and Shakur would beat Loma as well but I do think Loma would beat Ryan crybaby Garcia.

I genuinely was kind of impressed by his performance against Ortiz... I'm not kidding. As far as Haney is concerned, the wins over George flattered him greatly. Stylistically George was tailor-made for him, just like Lopez was tailor made for George. So I don't read anything into those performances, Loma is not Kambosos and Haney is nothing like Ortiz. At best this match should be seen as 50/50. Haney should not be seen it as an overwhelming favorite.

Fighting Ortiz is nowhere near the same level of motivation as fighting a champion for his belts, let alone for undisputed. And honestly, I’m kind of glad Loma didn’t put on a spectacular performance because people will doubt him even more which only adds more fuel to the fire. If Loma was healthy, I confidently believe he would of beat Lopez and now he has a chance to regain what he should of never lost in the first place.

I like JoJo he's one of my current favorite fighters in boxing, but aside from winning 4 rounds Haney beat him clearly. I get the southpaw comparison but Loma is not fighting in his natural weight class, and sometimes especially at his age the size disadvantages could make all the difference.

I feel like anytime Loma tries to get his offense off, Haney will tie him up and offset his rhythm forcing him to reset. Loma will never get dominated by any fighter throughout history he's an ATG imo, but I just feel as of now like Haney will put in the best performance of his career.

You have to factor in his performance against Ortiz here, and look at what was working for Ortiz which was his size advantage aside from his skills. Haney has those same physical attributes and the skills and youth to win this fight. Loma is great but has been on the decline for a few years imo.

Not really. Totally different circumstances. If anything, I’m glad people are going off the Ortiz fight and doubting Loma saying he’s washed. Loma is not no Kambosos.

Fighting Haney is a totally different circumstance than fighting Ortiz. Haney has most of the advantages in his favor going into this fight.

Yes, we’ve established that which is why Loma will shock everyone and beat Haney.
