I won't finish logging these until late Monday night, so I'll accept new submissions through then. But once I finish logging, that will officially be the end for the 1900s. Meanwhile, the 1910s deadline is March 12, and the 1920s deadline is March 26. Cheers everyone!
Hi. @Rumsfeld There appear to be five random names tacked on to the end of my list here, which were not on the original list I posted (it should end with 25. G Gardiner)! Maybe a copy/paste error?
D'ohh! I see what I did. I inadvertantely copy/pasted yours between Del Boy's #20-21. Fixed it! Thanks!
No problem mate. I wondered if, with it being that far back, some posters checked the world champions fron that decade as a place to start to consider who to include, and subsequently whether some just didn't consider Packey at all. Its difficult to imagine his work in the decade was considered and a conclusion reached he wasn't top 10 for the decade.
I've logged everything, including your list here. But when I was doing the title cards, it occurred to me that you may have had some copy/pastes gone awry here, for the 1900s? Turns out I will be traveling this week, so I won't be able to properly take the next step here until next week. So please let me know. And while I'm hoping no one else who has already been logged has any changes to make, I will still accept late entries on the 1900s until the weekend, because that's the earliest I can begin to wrap this up. However, please let me know ASAP if you have the time, @Austinboxing Cheers!
I’m sorry @Rumsfeld but I’m not entirely sure what you mean. Could you identify the problem more specifically?
For the 1900s, it looked at quick glance as if you had some guys (Greb, Wills) from the 1920s included (guys who never fought between 1900-1909).
Ahh yes I see what you mean Rumsfeld. I just check my notes and I think I mixed some names up while making the 1900s. (I’m not very strong on that era so I don’t really notice those kind of mistakes). I’ve just gone and fixed it now. Let me know if there are any other issues.
Thank you for resolving the matter so quickly! I figured something like that had happened. I honestly didn't pay too close attention to the individual lists as I logged the data, but once I get most of it in, anomalies usually jump out quickly, and that's when I figured something had happened (a mix up in that particular decade). At quick glance, nothing else jumped out to me. Cheers AB!
I got to fixing yours today on the spreadsheet, and I'm glad you did. Because it altered the final tallies.
I have a busy few days ahead, so I'm hoping to finish the 1900s version up by Tuesday. March 12 DEADLINE still in effect for 1910s. And I should turn that one around much more quickly. Apologies for the delay everyone.
